The thing about Baltazar is that attempting to powerscale them is impossible since they will always cheat to be the strongest person in the room at any given time. His ass isn't learning Shit about his opponents, he has Power Word: Invincible and a gun

Baltazar has no reason to be fighting anyone fairly because for their entire existence all they've done is learn their actions will never matter in the grand scheme of things. And they're so zoomed out they've never learnt to change in a way that matters. And with that lack of change comes a fundamentally irresponsible and childish view of everything, meaning its impossible to give him consequences in a way that really matters. He WILL win, not because he deserves it or because he's trained hard for it, but because they don't care enough to try. And if they don't care enough to try earnestly they'll just make themselves more powerful than their opponents and beat them without effort

All this to say they could beat Goku in a fight not because they're necessarily more Powerful (skillwise) than Goku, but because they just made themselves as strong as Goku's universe could physically allow them to be before it starts breaking. And then when they win it's just like. Well yeah of course you fucking would

Archer is so funny to me. Just conceptually. What if you were raised to be a killing machine and you got so good at it that you get kinda uneasy when you haven't killed anything in a while. Like fuuuck. What if I'm the one who's gonna get killed now... Like it didn't make him cooler or anything it just fed into his neuroses that everything is out to kill him and that nothing will ever feel truly safe. So now when he's placed in any environment that isn't the Death and Murder planet (Pandora), he's just immediately going to kill people because he got scared things were moving a Little Too Slowly

When you're raised to see everything as a threat out to get you, you start to see red flags in things that are often nonsensical, if not outright completely made up. And when you're suspicious of everything, all that does is give you a justification to strike first to keep yourself safe. And when you're striking first everytime, well, at some point it stops counting as self defense does it not

Its like when you introduce a domestic cat to an urban environment and it methodically picks off the birds there both for enrichment and for sustenance. Or when you have too many wolves and not enough prey, so they starve after a while. They're just acting on instinct, but that instinct is not sustainable, and by the time they run out, it's way too late
