Home in Our Range

Balia sighed and smiled as he opened his eyes and then moved to pull her back into their slumbering embrace. Softly laughing in her throat at him saying it was too early. Being up early meant the world was quiet and peaceful and at the right time sunlight cast rainbows across her room from the little crystal star she took everywhere with her and set in the windows. But this morning she was with Icarus and there wasn't rainbows in the room. She wasn't sad about it in the least. Balia settled back down with him but she wasn't sleepy. She snuck her hand up to brush some of his hair away from his eyes. Thinking. "Ive been thinking about some things lately.....if... you were to buy a house... what kind of things... would you want in it?" She asked quietly. She had indeed. She'd been thinking for a while she wanted to get a little place of her own to call home. And maybe... Icarus and Kas could call home too? Or an additional home.
He honestly hadn't thought about that... perhaps ever. It was much easier before meeting Balia to just be content doing whatever the manager said to do. These days, though? He was actually thinking about his future, of one that potentially didn't include singing until he couldn't do it anymore.
"You know, I've never been asked that." He admitted, wrapping his arms around her as well, "I have no clue, honestly. I haven't had a place I could properly call home in... well, probably my whole life. Been living in apartments rented for me or hotel rooms for concerts. What kind of stuff do people usually like in their houses?"
He felt a little silly asking, but what else could he do?
