Second tonal study of the same nuthatch, but this time with watercolour rather than pencil

This is a lino print I did last year but forgot to post. Really proud of this one! Carving all those birds out of linoleum took quite a long time

Just got Procreate Dreams and tried it out with this little animation 🦉

I whittled another hairpin/brooch but this time to look like a chicken leg. Pretty happy with this original design. In case you were curious, I used mahogany for the meat and cedar for the bone to get that two colour effect.

Mahogany Fish Brooch/Hair Pin! A lot harder than the basswood I've been using, but this was a fun project and I learned a lot! What other brooch/hair pin designs could I make?

I'm slowly learning how to whittle and here is a project I completed just today! A Eurasian tree sparrow. Whittled and painted with love and gifted to a couple of friends to put in their Christmas tree.

I'm going to try to do more linoprints for Inktober or Drawtober or whatever you call it. A linoprint is when I carve into linoleum, apply ink, and print on paper. I'm using a prompt list by @painterlypetal on Instagram and combining every two prompts. First day is Ghost and second day is Magic. And so, I present to you, Ghost Magic!
