“I’ve been great. How have you been, Maggie?”

“I really can’t complain, we’re about to start pottery in my art class and I have to say, it’s one of my favorite units to teach.”

“It’s been great!  Oh, Maggie hi!” Danika said as she smiled over to her cousin.  “How about you?  How are you doing?”  She felt like it had been forever since she caught up with the ginger Mikaelson.

Maggie grinned at her cousin, gesturing for her to move her chair closer, “I’m excellent! I feel like you and I haven’t had a chance to catch up in forever, I’m dying to hear everything!”

Ryan had been scribbling in his journal for a good hour. His honest writing came out when he hd alcohol in him. Plus, he needed the drink. He loved his job.. truly.. but it could be a bit demanding. “Hmm?” He asked, looking over at the woman next to her. Was she talking to him? Ryans head quickly shot to the empty seat next to him. “Me…? I-I’m well… thanks…” Awkward. Why was he always so awkward. He quickly cleared his throat grabbing the pint of beer in front of him, taking a long sip. Once he swallowed and took a breath he spoke, “Wish it was summer, honestly.”

Maggie nodded and smiled understandingly, “I can’t say I haven’t had that thought myself a few times this past winter.”

“Oh yeah,” Waverly didn’t want her cousin to worry.  She was really okay.  Just worried about what would happen when the bartender set down the drink she ordered.  “You?  Are you having a fun night?”

Maggie smiled, “I am having a lovely evening.”

The underage Mikaelson was about to perk up and answer the question until she saw it was her cousin.  She bit down onto her lower lip and looked down at the bar top.  "Um, I’m fine,“ she said quietly.

Maggie looked at her cousin thoughtfully, “Are you sure Waves?”

Hugging her back she smiled. “See now we can have three minute cuddle time.”

Maggie plopped down on the bed besides her, “Ugh, fine.”

“Awe, I love you!” She giggled and reached her arms out to grab Maggie.

“I love you too,” Maggie smiled, wrapping her arms around her friend.

“Don’t stress too much about it though. We all make mistakes.”

“I appreciate that.” Maggie shrugged, sighing gently, “How have you been Mrs. Saltzman?”

The brunette siphoner’s eyes were practically glued to the pages of a book she found buried under her father’s old books. She was so inmerse in her lecture that didn’t notice someone approaching. “If you’re looking for Lizzie, she’s not here.” was her automatic response, before looking up to them with a soft smile on her face.

Maggie grinned, crossing her arms over her chest, “Well, fortunately I was looking for someone else, I don’t know, maybe you’ve seen her around?”

“Trust me you don’t want to go in there right now” The sound of glass smashing could be heard through the open door. 

“Rebekah is not a happy camper”

“Uncle Henrik what happened?” Maggie asked, her brow furrowed in concern.

Charlotte walked out of the Flower Shop, she honestly didn’t understand why she walked into the store to begin with, but she guessed she just wanted some flowers to brighten up her home. As she looked down to smell the flowers, Charlotte accidentally bumped into someone. “I am so sorry!” She quickly apologised. 

Maggie smiled at her cousin, “Don’t worry about it Char! No harm, no foul, right?”

“It’s fine, don’t worry. No harm done.” She smiled.

Maggie smiled, relieved. “Well, I’m glad to hear that. I promise I’ll try to be better about watching where I’m going.”

“I have four minutes, I’m savoring these moments.” She joked.

Maggie sat down at the end of her bed, “Fine, I’ll just wait here then.”
