True. I didnât really think about that. Maybe you should try to convince someone not to pursue college and start taking massage classes or whatever they do.
That is an option. But then once again, I have to pick someone that I donât really like, because lets face it, why would I ruin someone that I likeâs life. Which in turn would force me to have someone touch me that I would rather just never talk to. Id be better off just moving up my monthly appointment.Â
Thank you, Mads. I just donât understand how some fail to tie up hair, like weâre not asking for you to do hair for prom.Â
Oh donât even mention prom. Those girls have to go get it professionally done, and even then they look like a train wreck. Its just knowing how to actually take care of yourself and what products to use, and apparently that is the challenge.
Finals is my favorite time of the year. More free time in the studio and longer hours to practice. Thanks nerds.
Who would have ever thought youâd be thanking nerds...
What are you working on?
âI know the reality and I canât use my imagination on a vegetable. My taste buds will know the difference. What Iâve learned is.. if you arenât cheating, you arenât trying. So how about I take you out for some froyo- you know what that is right? itâll be our little secret and as long as you donât let the guilt eat you inside, youâre not going to get caught.â
I think your logic is flawed there. Hard work pays off you know? I think what you should learn is, is that if you arenât succeeding without cheating you arenât working hard enough. Yes, I know what froyo is... but I canât. Thanks for the offer though.

âNot even a blind person would believe a bland celery stick with some pb is a chocolate bar. Iâm not trying to knock your food choices- that much but babe, if you want the real thing, you can have one cheat day. Itâs not going to kill you.âÂ
You just have to use your imagination. You do know who that works right? What ever happened to us being taught not to cheat when we were younger. Its a constant, donât cheat-donât cheat-donât cheat. And now? Its more like cheat if you want, just try not to get caught. Iâd prefer to not risk being caught.
[ â ] :      âI know butâŚI dunno. I donât like eating lunch at St. Agnes anymore. Cafeteriaâs a bit uncomfortable.â
How is that? I never really understood why people found cafeteriaâs uncomfortable. Its not like theyâre supposed to be in the first place. So many people, all crammed into one place scarfing down food as quickly as possible.
Thatâs fun too⌠I guess it is a completely different feeling, being there in the theatre, seeing the dancers on the stage than watching it on a screen but, Iâm still in awe. [She walked over to her side of the room, settling her bag on her bed.] It was fine. I was just running through some routines we learnt in class, ironing out the kinks, the usual stuff.
How can you be in awe over something you want to one day do? Thatâs the best way to lead to injury. Oh, well it sounds like you had a productive day then.
You could always try offering something in an exchange for a massage from like a roommate or something?
Oh I donât want my roommate touching me. Or well, anyone touching me really that isnât a paid professional. The last thing I need is someone to injure me on accident while theyâre just trying to lend a helping hand.
âYour second option is peanut butterâŚon celery? that is the worst second choice, ever. âÂ
It has less calories, plenty of nutrients, plus if you close your eyes the crunch of the celery can become the crunch of a chocolate bar. Its really not that bad of a snack. Do you have a better second option?

There are such things as tables.
I swear some nights all I really want is a massage, a hot bath, and chocolate ice cream. But I guess Iâll just settle for a bath and peanut butter on celery..
My ponytail game is too on point.
It actually is. A lot of girls struggle with fly aways, but youâve definitely got the sleek and shine part down.

MADISON CALLOWAY. high school junior; sixteen. madison mclaughlin. TAKEN. and, as maureen cummings once said: âI am the best goddamn dancer in the American Ballet Academy. Who the hell are you? Nobody.â
BEFORE THE HEATHERSâ PARTY;
Some people are born with it,the ability to good at anything and everything without even trying. The ones who could make messy buns, wrinkled clothes, and sweatpants look like haute couture⌠And yet, Madison made those people look like kindergartners. Madison gave meaning to classic saying, looks can be deceiving. Though she didnât look a day over ten, Madison had an inner darkness (Which earned her the nickname of Lilith, just two days into freshmen year). It wasnât that Madison was purely evil, in fact, she volunteered to teach at the tiny totâs ballet classes, but it was more so that she didnât like change in her scheduled world.
Since birth, Madison had lived and danceed in Rosewood, which meant she owned the ballet and social scene. As she entered elementary school it became rather obvious that she had already earned her diamond encrusted spot at Rosewoodâs dance academy. Though she had the school in the palm of her hands, she still practiced as hard as physically and mentally could until she was officially accepted into the program. It wasnât until she walked into her dorm room to find the bright eyed Jude Griffin stretching in the middle of the floor that her world finally got rocked. The Calloway name allowed for her pushy mother to snag a roster of the upcoming freshmen class and their marks, obviously Madison was first, but Jude was a close second. And after the first dance class, it became unmissable that Jude was a huge threat. Of course, Jude was flawed. Her feet were weak and her skill was extremely disorganized, but underneath the rust there was a raw talent and Madison could sense that it would become a problem.
At first Madison thought she could sweep Jude under her wing; she would be able to closely monitor how her competition worked and maybe she would be to able make a friend along the way, but Jude was quick to ditch Madison for the likes of Isidora Flores, River Montgomery and Blake Armstrong. Madison didnât pay much mind to the trio until they disrupted barre warms ups within the first week of classes and suddenly, they were put onto the top of her list. Â
DURING THE HEATHERSâ PARTY;
In theory, a party sounded fun; she could let loose, maybe even socialize with the upperclassmen, but after discussing the idea of attending with her mother, she quickly realized she was just being foolish. A girl like her shouldnât be attending a party, she had her career ahead. If something went wrong on this one night, it would be thirteen years of dancing down the drain.
So instead of attending the party, Madison decided to surprise her mother for dinner in the city. She couldnât have been happier, they hadnât spent quality time together since the start of the school year. With a clear mind, Madison set out to find her mother. Before she knew it she found her mom and she was fast approaching. With a grin she gave her mom a hug before asking where she wanted to eat. But what her mother answered with wasnât she expected. With a shriveled expression and a cruel pout her mother asked why she wasnât practicing. At first Madison was confused, had she done something wrong? Why couldnât they have dinner together? Her mother then tutted her away and mentioned how her face looked fuller; she needed to work off the pounds she had put on.
Holding back tears, Madison stumbled out of the building and ran back to her dormitory. Did she gain weight? She couldnât have; since the school year started back up all she did was practice; sometimes she even skipped meals to keep her figure slim. As she kicked in her door to her room, tears began to stream down her cheeks. What was wrong with her? Didnât she have a ballerina body? With angry warped thoughts, Madison found herself in her bathroom, shoving a toothbrush towards the back of her throat. She would get that damned ballerina body.
alternate faceclaims and prompts.
Yeah, you can. You can start by moving. [Colette waved her off.] You see some of us actually want to rehearse for Curtain Call.
I think I will wait right here actually. Iâm not hurting anyone by being against a wall with the bags. Iâll leave when my lesson starts. [Putting her headphone back into her ear, Madison shifted her attention back to the screen.]
