             ‘‘ i know that no one is telling me how to feel , just worried since everyone is talking about their futures and i have absolutely no idea what i want to do with mine, ’’ she said quietly. harleen had always thought she wanted to be a nurse , someone that had a profession of helping people but the closer she got to that ending , she wanted to back away. letting out a small sigh , she turned around and began to lean back against the other woman. ‘‘ alright , a lot of the photos are not in the colour i want. we both know that i will wear pastel pink or absolutely nothing, ’’ she said with a small chuckle , pulling out her phone to scroll through the few dresses she had in mind.

              ‘‘ i guess i am just excited prior to when i should be , i just like to think of the future. i know that i’m supposed to be stressing about schooling , but i don’t —- entirely know what i want to do, you know ? ’’ a part of her felt behind in the college applications , the blonde even thinking of taking a year off in hopes to finally figure out what to do with her life. but would that make her a failure in her parents eyes ? ‘‘ i guess it would be silly to show you the prom dresses i have in mind ? ’’ she asked quietly , body slightly moving from side to side , almost as though she was indicating for maddy to ask for her to show her the ideas.

              after the initial argument with angel , harleen going through the withdrawals of her best friend and someone she thought she was in love with , madeleine became someone that harleen found herself being — herself again. although angel was still holding the label of her best friend , madeleine was someone that harleen found herself spending most of her time with , even if it was curled up on the couch together and watching re-runs of friends. ‘‘ is it — weird ? i mean no one is even excited about prom , or graduation. we’re all too focused on getting good grades and over-stressing our minds and bodies to the point of no return. we aren’t thinking of the good things in the future , just panicking about if we aren’t going to accepted in college. i just —- i hate that we’re all so stressed that we can’t enjoy ourselves , you know ? ’’

“It’s — no problem. I mean, I’m not usually one to judge but when your ass if practically hanging out of your jeans, I do get quite the cringe, you know?” She muttered, trying to advert her eyes, hoping to not come off as creepy from the constant stares.

“I —- yeah just — horrid plumbers butt the moment I walked into the door. I warn you not to look to your left when you leave.”
