Other work I enjoy creating that probably won't be featured on this blog (but you can find them on my other blogs):
Short stories
Experimental fiction
Stories that aren't short

About my work
No AI, ever
I have never and will never use generative AI in any part of my creative process. All work on this blog has been thoroughly and lovingly hand-crafted.
About my photography
Photography in this gallery was taken with a Nikon D3200 DSLR with a 18-55mm lens unless otherwise noted. Most shots in the #macro photography tag were taken with one or more macro/magnifying lens attachments. I have lost the dates of some of my photos but have done my best to post the dates of photos when I know or remember them.
Photos tagged "photohunt" were taken as part of a friendly deviantArt chatroom game in the early 2010s. I had a lot of fun playing Photohunt back in the day, and it was a great way to inspire creativity without feeling pressured to make huge spectacles. (A moderator/judge would post a prompt and participants had 20 minutes to capture, edit, and upload a photo to fit the prompt. It was fast paced and fun, and I got some really neat photos out of it that I will treasure forever.)
While my creative focus has moved away from photography, it was an integral part of my creative journey and I'll always have a place for fun, creative photos in my heart.
