What’s your favorite Sims death?

I’m terribly attached to my Sims so I play with aging off and don’t tend to do things to risk them, but I did once accidentally kill Sax with a rabbit attack which was very funny to me (and then I immediately exited without saving). 

Alpha CC or MaxisMatch?

Both. I used to be all alpha, but switched to Gshade a while back to make editing easier, and I couldn’t get alpha hair to work with DOF so I switched to MM hair instead (I LOVE alpha hair so much, but I love not having to manually enter DOF even more 🤣).

Do you cheat your sims weight?

I would if my story Sims changed, because I’m a terribly slow storyteller and I like to cover every minute detail of their lives, so I’ve taken nearly 2 years to cover around 4 months their time… and a sudden weight and/or muscle change would look odd (also why I have aging off). But in gameplay that’s down to them.

Do you move objects?

I have the MOO cheat always enabled. 

Favorite Mod?

Oh gosh! So my must-haves as a storyteller: Poseplayer (obviously); MCCC; TOOL; UI Cheats; Buckley’s Camera Mod; ceiling replacements.

And in general: Better Exceptions; Wicked Whims; Bird Life; Bugged Out; More Kisses; Ballroom Dance; Realistic Child Birth (because the couple interactions are ADORABLE).

First Expansion/Game Pack/Stuff Pack?

Seasons was my first expansion; Vampires was my first game pack; and I think Laundry day was my first stuff pack.

Do you pronounce live mode like aLIVE or LIVing?

I say it like aLive.

Saxen my disastrous child. <3

Have you made a simself?

I did when I first got the game, but never since. I just could never get it to look like me.

Which is your favorite EA hair color?

I have a huge amount of black-haired characters… it wasn’t a conscious decision, it just happened that way.  🤣

Favorite EA hair?

I think these ones on Elidyr are both EA? I generally don’t use EA hairs but I love these! I think the kid ones look better.

Favorite life stage?

I guess adult/young adult, purely because there are more gameplay options and pose options for them haha. But I also super love infants!

Are you a builder or are you in it for the gameplay?

Gameplay out of those two options, though I’m mostly a storyteller. I love furnishing builds but I’m terrible at making them.

Are you a CC creator?

I learnt to make storytelling poses out of necessity and I enjoy sharing them. I hope to provide the weird, niche interactions that were so valuable to me when I first started storytelling, and would spend ages trawling the internet for poses to fit the scenes I wanted to show.

Do you have any Simblr friends or a Sim Squad?

I have a few! <3 But mostly my “family” is on Simsta, as that was the first platform I used and is where I share my story.

Do you have any sims merch?

No.

Do you have a YouTube for sims?

Nope. 

How has your “Sims style” changed throughout your years of playing?

Well I’ve only been playing 2 and a bit years, and I haven’t altered my story Sims since I made them but I have learnt how to better use skin details and make-up, and what my CC options are. Learning how to adjust femme CC for masc frame was a huge improvement too.

I literally have no idea, I don’t share things on the gallery anyway.

Oh! @simdertalia , @simmireen​ , @saruin​ , @alpine-lapine , @simmerianne93 , @samsstudio , @sunivaa , @dustyratt , @lady-moriel , @wistfulpoltergeist , @adjusted-karma​ , @surely-sims​ , @sciophobis … so many others, I hate listing favourites because I don’t like folk to feel left out, but I also want to share their creations with others.

How do you edit your pictures?

Affinity Photo (and I use Affinity Publisher to put my story posts together). I will always sing the praises of Affinity because I used to be tied up with god-awful Adobe as I needed their products for work, and I was just bleeding money (I was self-employed). The Affinity suite is just as good, and because I also bought it on half-price sale it cost the same amount as one month’s sub to Adobe… and I owned it. 

What expansion/ gamepack is your favorite?

I actually really like My Wedding Stories, but mostly because of the world! It’s my favourite one. I also love Journey To Batuu and Jungle Adventure for the same reasons. The world is my main draw for any pack.
