H I A T U S

Just because I realized I’ll probably have to share it on every account since not everyone follows Espio. ahh.

I didn’t want this to be all up in peoples faces but some people didn’t see my post earlier sooo yeah. I’ll reblog this to Espi, Popo and Mighty.

What Mighty said made plenty of sense to him. In fact, it reminded him a lot of the Mighty who had taken care of him for a little while. He had a tendency to start rambling as well. It served more as a comforting factor than it did an annoyance.

"But if you don’t want me to say anything, how will I ever speak?" His eyebrow raised, but there was a smirk on his face instead of a frown. "You don’t have to worry about that. I don’t think there’s anything you could do that would cause me to dislike you.  I think the only people who could dislike you are those who are so bitter that they inherently dislike everybody."

He used to be one of those people, but he had grown out of that, and ironically, it was an alternate of Mighty who showed him that people could be kind, and generous without expecting anything in return. He was usually very careful about the whole ‘friend’ thing, but for Mighty, he couldn’t help but be willing to make an exception.

And it was damn good to know he didn't dislike him! Sure he was going on about all that blab and stuff 'bout him not being the squirrel he know. Blah blah! Mighty din care, and Mighty never would! He'd just toss all that bad stuff away and keep 'I'm to his good traits. 

With a smirk in return, he places a hand on his hip. "Oh, so you're going to be picky with me now are ya?" He asked, circling the other in a playful manner. "Look, y'know I don't care bout all that bad stuff, were gonna be friends and that's that! I don't plan on changing ya just like…don' hurt me with intention yeah? Then that's cool!"

His hand went to the others back and a chuckle came out of his mouth. "We shouldn't be blabbing bout these what if's anyway! We should just erm…Eat some ice cream to shake this on, yeah? If ydont like ice cream we can have candy instead, candy is pretty damn nice too!"

"Ey—Ey” Mighty yelled over, hand awkwardly floating in mid-wave. “Erm, ‘m jus’ gonna guess you don’t live ‘round here.” The tall body and muscly figure was certainly not something he’d see on a daily basis.

"No matter! ‘m Mighty, y’need any help?"

Hey there! So you’re Mighty? I’ve heard about you, though I acknowledge that you may not be the same Mighty.

It was a little interesting seeing a Mobian armadillo. The red shell was interesting, probably something his brother Raph would be a tiny bit envious of.

Honestly--He was spoke about by people out-of mobius as well? Outer species knew this armadillo? Whether it was an alternate or not, that was pretty rad! And damn was this gonna boost the guys ego.

And this guy alone seemed pretty nice, being grateful for the dudes willingness to help. And that purple headband around his eyes made him seem groovy as eh...a groovy thing, yeah!

It was, it made Mighty think very specifically of this guy with sound effects, like vroom or woosh! Sonic definitely gave him personality and blue was the perfect colour to go with his name.

"…I don’t want to get rid of you at all." Hopefully he hadn’t given off that impression. He had only been thinking of Mighty’s safety. That was… kind of selfish, but it was for a good cause, wasn’t it? At this point, he wasn’t entirely sure. All he wanted was for the armadillo to be happy. First instinct was to take himself out of the equation. He felt overly protective of optimists. Although, this was Mighty, not Silver. They tended to have more experience, as far as he knew.

"Sure you heard it. And now you’re going to think about that every time you see me. But the gesture of you being kind enough to look past it and see that I’ve grown as a person speaks for itself. If you think so highly of him, he must be nothing like me." His head tilted, his frown a little more curled. It reflected a state of sadness more than one of apathy.

"I...I don't want y'to say anything."

He couldn't help but feel like it was his fault for saying the wrong words that the squirrels frown seemed to only have gotten worse. Maybe there was too much shell and not enough brain inside there because gah! The poor buddy must think Mighty really doesn't like him.

"Yeah, you guys aren't alike at all." Mighty admitted with a nod, placing an arm on Ray's shoulder. "But that isn't a bad thing, is it? I mean y'guys are alternates of each other after all n' I like him for his sweetness n' kindness, but that don't mean y'aren't sweet and kind! Other qualities stand out more like determination n' honesty.

I din' think y'actually wanted me t'leave either, y'were just trying t'show you aren't the lil'bro I knew. N'thats cool! I ain't gonna replace him, after all you're a different Ray n' stuff…

Eh, I dunno if my point is coming across right but basically don't worry bout it. Be yourself n' I'll appreciate that more than enough. I like you, n' thats all that matters right now! Unless you don't like me…Then heh this might not work."

And the whole handsome thing...It'll do.

"Sidetracked from what? How did that end y'up here? D'ya need help gettin' back?"

Gosh people called his accent cute and now his appearance was cute? Great, juuuust great.

And then a smile.

Whoa-! He never seen this Mercian before. Did he come across him when he helped out during the rescue mission? Should he speak in the accent. . ? It would be suspicious if he didn't, right?

Of course it bothered Mighty--More than he wanted the echidna to get concerned about. He'd find them one day, and if he didn't...he didn't! He'd live on, he was a damn strong armadillo! They meant the world to him but he knew them better than most, they were strong...Strong minded at the least.

"But these are the chaotix! So I'm pretty super there all well, I doubt'll see them any other way."
