I typed out an (incomplete) timeline a while ago for the vkei au that I can share even with a bunch of little event holes...
1990, group 3-Guns (Three Guns, Tri-Guns) start touring after years of small town gigs. The group is comprised of two twin brothers and their eldest sister.
1993, the group announces a split and abruptly halts all public activity.
1996, 3-G comes back from a three year hiatus. Announcing that their sister has left the group. The brothers are rarely photographed together anymore. When they are, they sit or stand apart. More often, they take separate photos and are edited together.
2000, the press explode over 3-G murder scandal. Sister's leaving suspected to have been a murder as she was found to have been a buried missing person's case in 1993. The twin brothers have a gruesome stage fight on tour. The venue of their final show, the July Grand Hall, goes up in flames and chaos. Two made it out of the hall before it collapsed.
The tragedy is ruled an accident. The two brothers disappear soon after.
2017, one of the twins, Vash (The Stampede), releases three singles within the month of July with no explanation. Completely out of the blue. The tracks are experimental and hard to follow. Long time fans disect and prod at their meaning as Vash himself refuses to show his face or speak to the press/fans.
In that same month, a new group, Gung-ho-Guns, makes their debut. The lead's stage character wears a full costume that conceals his identity. He is referred to as Knives Millions.
2018, 3-G comes back. The only original member is Vash himself (Sole Saverem). Two women, Milly (Stun Gunner) and Meryl (Derringer), man drums and guitar, respectively.
In the same year, talk begins of a secret fourth Gun. This is Wolfwood, who prefers not to show himself on stage but stalks in the back of paparazzi photos and official shoots like Vash's shadow.
2021, Wolfwood comes to the stage. He enters as a veiled, massive bass wielding companion (The Bride) to Vash's own stage character. His face is concealed in every iteration of his costume, and his character for interviews does not speak.
☆ Wolfwood becomes their primary songwriter (publicly. He had been helping Meryl and Milly before then in private.) The opposing band of Knives Millions often has suspiciously similar songs to Wolfwood's, even before he joined 3-Guns...
2022, concerning rumors of the state of Wolfwood's health arise after his sudden collapse during a performance on stage.
2024, Vash announces a break as Wolfwood is hospitalized. Their fans make videos, art, covers, and write and send letters to wish him well. Wolfwood is shocked by the hundreds upon thousands of people who express their care.
2025, Wolfwood is still bedridden in hospital. Vash and the girls visit as much as they can and always seem to have some new thing to bring him from a fan at their latest meet and greet. Soon enough, Livio finds him, and brings gifts and treats from Melanie and the kids back at the orphanage.
☆Vash and Wolfwood sneak out of the hospital sometimes to sit outside. Just to enjoy eachothers company away from the place Wolfwood had been confined to for over a year. (He's sick of sterile hospitals of any kind.)
☆ On one of these secret trips, they share drinks on a bench by the water. Wolfwood gifts Vash a tattered binder loaded with silly stickers and kid's doodles. A single bird in flight sits in the center of its cover amidst the chaos. Inside is every song Wolfwood wrote and performed in the quiet moments between him and Vash over the years. Songs Vash had enjoyed and wished he would share with the world he wrote about and loved so much.
Wolfwood dies that night under the stars.
Vash and the girls go on a special tour with songs that Wolfwood wrote. The songs he was never able to sing, about love, and humanity.
