one of my favorite things about dr bones is the way they hide certain plot points. brennan says things literally about 99% of the time so it’s up to the viewer to decide if she meant it at face value or not. for example, spoilers of course, when she tells angela she “got into bed with booth.” angela is asking specifically if they had sex, but we only saw her crawl into bed with him for comfort and the conversation ends before she can clarify. we only find out what she meant when she tells booth that she’s pregnant. i could go on about how temperance brennan is autistic and how deeply engrained it is into her character without ever needing to be said outright. i could also talk about the episode “the doctor in the photo” but i fear that would show my lack of media literacy 😞 i was genuinely getting angry because it was CLEARLY HER in that photo and those tapes but i fell for it the same way the character did. i love this show a lot. ok thanks bye
