Identity Crisis - Reverse William Clone AU, Part 3 (First Person POV story)
I was about ready to go to bed early. But something deep in my mind prevented me from doing so.
On que, Jeremie called me up on my phone. Feeling like it was urgent, I picked it up.
“William, what are you doing with Aelita?”
Huh? I was confused.
“What do you mean?” I asked. “I am in my room.”
“Wait, you are?” Jeremie asked.
“Yeah I am!”
“Shoot…”
Feeling that this situation is much more severe than I anticipated, I jumped out of my bed. Not even bothering to change out of my pajamas.
I exited out of my dorm room and dashed straight for the others. They were just as surprised to see me in person.
No time to explain and no time to complain, I suppose.
Quickly, Ulrich, Jeremie and I ran towards the factory.
What is going on then?
“Milly and Tamiya told me ‘you’ were with Aelita before suddenly snatching her away…” Jeremie explained.
Huh? What?
“I was in my room the entire time.” I argued.
“I know and I believed you.” Ulrich responded. “But now, we’ll need to find out what’s going on.”
I agreed, this all incredibly bizarre, but it became even weirder when i found out what happened.
Turns out, XANA has made a clone of me… to masquerade as me in Kadic.
This is getting complicated…
