Ivig 12
today hurt. The nurse who isn’t gentle and talks about the news (despite apparently being told not to) has claimed me as her own. Such is life.
white count was low.
I was thinking recently about being jealous of the comradery men in the military share with each other. There is a specialness about going through the same thing together. But today I realized I do have that same thing, yet different, in outpatient chemo. And I’m thankful to experience it. It’s an experience and a closeness the rich and powerful could never understand.
last time I wasn’t doing well. I was exhausted. But an older lady passed my exam room and she told me she hates that I’m here, but she missed seeing me in there (the chemo room) and hoped I was alright. She had concern in her eyes. And I was grateful she said that to me. A moment in time where two people of two totally different generations crossed the same unfortunate path and are getting through it together. It is utmost love for a stranger. I hope to love everyone like that someday
