So, this is going to be my first imagine about Kid Sampson from the Hulu series, Catch 22. If I end up liking this, I might make more parts, but for now, this is what we’re working with 😂

Okay, but first, can we take a minute to appreciate how bad this man is?

Synopsis: Today is the day that the boys get their inoculation injection, and they have the pleasure of having it administered by the hot nurse…(imagine that scene from Pearl Harbor)

All the boys are lined up outside the med tent, waiting there turn for their inoculation injections. “Routine,” they were told. Everyone has to get it. They watch as another soldier walks out of the med tent, hand on his ass as he practically limps away.

“This is bullshit,” McWatt complains. “Why do they even make us do this shit?”

“So the rest of us don’t turn out to be as fucked up as you,” Yossarian retorts.

While all of them bitch and moan about a simple shot, Kid Sampson stands quietly at the back of their little group, eyes downcast as he wrings his hands. He heard that Nurse y/n is the one on duty today, and lord, is he terrified.

Over the past few months, Kid has been practically drooling over y/n anytime he sees her around base. The guys watch as he practically trips over himself just trying to get her attention, but she never seems to notice him, and the guys give him so much shit for it.

They all know he’s fucking terrified—hell, he practically flinches every time Doc Daneeka pokes his head out the tent flap and yells “next!”

One by one, each of the guys goes in—McWatt, Nately, Yossarian, Orr—and each one of them comes out limping. Finally, it’s Kid’s turn.

“Next!”

He practically scampers through the tent flap, and there she is. Y/n is just across the tent prepping a syringe.

“Name?” Doc Daneeka asks.

“S-Sampson…Kid Sampson.”

Y/n—with a needle in hand—steps over.

“Alright Sampson, you know the drill…drop ‘em”

His hands fumble on his belt, struggling to get the leather through the loop. He manages to get it undone, and tugs them down enough to expose the top of his ass.

She pauses for a moment, staring as he leans forward and rests his chest against the table.

Cute ass, she thinks.

She swabs the injection site with an alcohol swab before sticking him with the needle.

Kid yelps, biting down on his lip as to not let out a whimper.

“Done,” she says, removing her gloves.

“T-that…that’s it?”

“Do you want another one?”

“N-no! No ma’am…”

“Good,” she says, turning to dispose of the syringe.

Kid stands there for a moment longer, just watching her. She can practically feel his stare burning into her back.

“You planning to just stare like a lost puppy, or are you actually going to say something?”

Kid blinks, his cheeks turning pink.

“S-sorry, ma’am—”

“Enough with the ma’am…I’m not that old”

“Right…sorry, Miss y/n”

“Lord give me strength. Did you need something else, Sampson?”

His mouth opens…then closes…then opens again.

“I, uh—Ithinkyou’rereallypretty!”

His eyes immediately go wide…did he really just blurt that.

She blinks once, processing whatever the fuck that was that just came out of his mouth.

“…thank you?”

He stares at her for a moment before darting out the tent flap, past the group of guys waiting for him.

“Woah—hey! Where’re you goin’?!” McWatt calls.

He doesn’t answer—he just runs all the way back to his tent and collapses face down into his rack.

That evening, y/n finds the rest of the guys sitting on some overturned crates around a fire.

“Any of y’all know where Sampson is? I need to…check his injection site…”

I actually don’t hate this 😂 I will definitely be making a part 2 at some point, and I’m planning to incorporate some smut in the future, SO…be ready for that!
