ㅤㅤㅤㅤIt was quiet in their little corner of the world. A small, secluded pool, nestled deep in a dense forest — water flowing from an even smaller waterfall that dropped over a ridge. Moonlight cut across the water, falling upon their bodies, bare and entwined, locked in an embrace without a care in the world for all the things that sought to tear them apart.

ㅤㅤㅤㅤMarcus had already taken her many times over. He’d already ran his hands over every inch of her body, and molded his flesh with hers until even his strength had run out. And yet … it didn’t seem nearly enough.

ㅤㅤㅤㅤMouth moving against hers fervently, he curled his fingers around her hips, tightening his hold enough to leave marks — and his mind reveled at the idea. Some savage part of him hoped Vladimir would see, and know. That Selene belonged to him as much as she belonged to the Dacian, and that the marks he left on the outside of her body mirrored the ones he left on her heart. Parting from her lips with labored breath, he dropped a line of open-mouthed kisses down the side of her neck and shoulder, pausing only when she spoke.

ㅤㅤㅤㅤThey’d spoken about it at length, the idea of blood-sharing and the affects hers in particular would have on him. And though she offered so willingly, Marcus hesitated, hiding his trepidation with a pepper of slow kisses places on her shoulder. ❛ Vladimir will know. ❜ He whispered against her water-slick skin, one hand curling around her waist to pull her flush against him.  ❛ I daresay, he’ll kill me if he sees so much as a scratch on your shoulder. ❜ A soft, teasing chuckle fell from his mouth. ❛ And I intend to do more than scratch. ❜

Selene’s body still hummed with ecstasy, her chest still flush from the last wave of pleasure that had rolled through it summoned by Marcus’s touch. Her blood that ran hotter than most other vampires pumping faster through her chest. A marker of the wolf that ran through immortal veins. She may not have turned into a beast as her father had but the full moon still set her into somewhat of a frenzy, her mind set on nothing but pleasure and need. Even as a human, upon her first encounter with the moon in all her glory, the celestial planet had seemed to use her body as a conduit to electrify those around her into a near infectious desire to fulfil Selene. Their worship proxy from her to the goddess Selene. Despite not needing the moon to want one another, her and Marcus’s desire combined with full beam rays was an aphrodisiac that had sent the Dacian over the edge. Again. And again. And yet she still she craved more.

Their watery haven kept them from the earthly politics and sparring of their covens so well that Selene could pretend for a moment that this was their very own realm. Two gods ruling over nothing but the water and the rocks and the nature that inhabited. Trapped in an eternal dance of lust and pleasure. It was easier to imagine when her mind was affected by the goddess in the sky like this and her thoughts were nowhere but right there with him. His touch. His mouth rolling over her skin, sending her eyes rolling back toward the sky, hands curling tighter in his hair, hips straddling closer against him. She wants him to feel the way she felt, to be intoxicated by nothing but their own private heaven. However many ways they’d had one another tonight, it still wasn’t enough. She wants to be inside him just as he had her many times already. Her blood is almost whispering to her, begging for him as much as her body. The offer is made without a second thought.
