من العِبادات الجليلَة التي حثَّ عليها القُرآن، التفكُّر بنِعم اللّٰه، والتأمُّل بألطافهِ التي يُجريها إلىٰ عبادهِ، يقُول السَّعدي: كُلَّما طالَ تأمُّل العَبد في نِعم اللّٰه الظَّاهرة والبَاطنة، رأىٰ ربه قد أعطاهُ خيرًا كثيرًا، ودفعَ عنهُ شُرورًا مُتعدِّدة، ولا شكَّ أنَّ هذا يدفع الهُموم والغُموم ويُوجِب الفَرح والسُّرور
