Measures
You, checking off the days I, counting down the hours Until the minutes get heavy and only have few seconds to let go What a sight you are Standing still, you stop in an instant My eyes locked with yours as if i’m looking at the farthest star As we get closer, in the midnight wind I feel the rhythm and the warmth of your skin Your lips touching mine feel like the ocean and your breath is the breeze Then slow away, your hands slip through my fingers like the knots should be entangled And i mutter an excuse, stay with me for a minute more Because, time is ours Though distance is eminent There is no need for gravity We are our own world
