they'd  agreed  to  meet  for  lunch  since  six  had  been  nearby  doing  more  regional  connection  work  and  finally  had  some  free  time.  she'd  invited  streli  over  to  her  rented  house  for  the  week  so  she  could  cook  some  nice  food  and  catch  up  on  recent  things.  just  let  yourself  in,  the  champion  had  told  her.  the  door  was  unlocked  anyway.  so  she'd  started  cooking,  the  delicious  scents  of  a  filling  and  savory  lunch  permeate  throughout  the  house,  drawing  chichai  near,  poking  her  head  as  close  as  she  could  to  try  and  sneak  a  bite,  only  to  be  pushed  away  playfully.       ❝   chi,  relax,  you'll  get  some  in  a  little  bit  !   ❞       the  smile  on  her  face  is  warm  as  she  places  a  free  hand  over  the  face  of  the  small  pikachu,  causing  the  pokemon  to  let  out  a  muffed  chaaa  sound.

the  pokemon  finally  relents  and  hops  over  to  the  windowsill,  watching  the  world  outside,  waiting  for  the  woman  she  knew  to  come  around.  it  doesn't  take  long  for  chichai  to  happily  chirp  when  she  sees  the  red  head  coming  down  the  path,  and  she  rushes  to  the  door  to  greet  her  excitedly.  as  the  door  creaks  open,  chichai's  greeting  is  not  returned.  instead,  streli  appears  as  if  something  is  off,  different.  and  so  yellow  ears  pin  back  on  the  electric-mouse's  head,  concern  awash  on  her  features.  six's  back  is  to  the  door,  but  the  gym  leader's  voice  causes  her  to  turn,  brow  furrowed  slightly.          ❝   hey…   ❞        voice  trails  off,  mirroring  the  concern  of  her  pokemon.  something  wasn't  right.  as  much  as  she  wanted  to  address  it  now,  the  champion  opts  to  take  it  slow.         ❝   come  sit,  lunch  is  just  about  ready.   ❞        after  putting  the  finishing  touches  on  her  plating,  she  brings  them  both  over  to  the  small  table,  which  is  already  set,  placing  each  one  down  and  watching  streli  closely.         ❝   i  made  stuffed mushrooms with that garlic sauce i made before.  thought  you  might  like  it.   ❞

what apocalypse are you?

 THE  FIRE.        You  are  pain.  Anything  is  flammable  if  you  try  hard  enough,  you  will  sear  the  beauty  from  the  land  until  everything  is  charcoal  and  ash.  It'll  hurt,  but  it  won't  be  as  bad  as  an  eternity  in  the  pits  of  Hell.  You  will  rage  across  the  world  and  light  it  up  like  a  second  sun,  a  brief  moment  of  exultation  until  everything  erupts  into  sparks.  Ashes  to  ashes.  Dust  to  dust.

 what  does  your  muse  smell  like?

like  a  crackling  fire,  embers  flying  into  the  air  with  a  bright  and  beautiful  flicker  of  light.  like  the  pages  of  a  well  used  book,  leafed  through  often  but  well  cared  for.  like  caramelized  sugar  and  freshly  baked  bread,  just  pulled  out  of  the  oven.  like  a  freshly  pressed  wax  seal  on  an  important  letter,  something  no  longer  needed,  but  instead  desired. 

what  do  your  muse’s  hands  feel  like?

the  hands  of  a  woman  who  works,  but  cares  for  her  hands  as  best  she  can.  always  warm,  heat  changing  depending  on  her  mood.  the  more  fear  she  holds,  the  hotter  it  is  to  hold  onto  her  palms.  there  are  no  calluses  that  last  for  long,  but  her  hands  appear  firm,  as  if  close  to  forming  those  calluses. 

does  your  muse  have  a  good  singing  voice?

a  voice  designed  for  harmonies  rather  than  solos,  the  rareitan  champion  can  certainly  sing,  but  sounds  best  in  a  duet  or  more.  the  occasional  solo  does  present  itself,  however,  and  she  is  often  able  to  deliver.

does  your  muse  have  any  bad  habits  or  nervous  tics?

the  worst  habit  of  all  is  drinking.  one  that  she's  mostly  kicked  to  the  curb,  but  occasionally  grasps  at  the  reaches  of  her  mind.  often  found  hugging  herself  tightly  or  rubbing  her  arms  when  she's  nervous.  sometimes  can  be  found  cracking  her  neck  or  various  parts  of  her  body,  despite  knowing  that  it's  bad  for  her. 

what  does  your  muse  usually  look  like/wear?

comfortable  but  snug  fit  jeans  or  shorts  with  tank  tops  only  covered  by  her  signature  jacket.  the  snapback  she's  most  commonly  known  for.  elegant  dresses  and  exquisite  suits  for  formal  events.  baggy  t-shirts  and  short  shorts  for  comfortable  times  around  the  house.  comfortable  sneakers  and  cute  flats.  one  day,  maybe  some  crop  top  action  would  do  her  some  good.

is  your  muse  affectionate?   how  much?   how  so?

people  and  pokemon  alike  have  the  chance  to  see  her  affectionate  side.  that  desire  to  touch  and  be  close  to  the  others.  the  hope  that  they  understand  her  feelings,  even  without  words.  most  of  the  time  with  people  she  is  professional  and  cordial,  but  when  she  gets  closer  you  may  find  a  hand  on  your  shoulder.  a  soft  hug.  a  forehead  pressed  against  yours.  the  feeling  of  sitting  beside  a  crackling  fire. 

what  position  does  your  muse  sleep  in?

curled  up  on  her  side,  blankets  held  softly  in  her  arms.  tossing  and  turning  over  the  course  of  the  night.  sometimes  a  hand  under  her  pillow.  occasionally  a  plushie  in  her  hand  that  ends  up  on  the  floor  the  next  morning.  when  cuddling  with  her  pokemon,  she  often  stops  tossing  and  turning,  and  is  completely  still,  with  a  content  smile  on  her  face. 

could  you  hear  your  muse  in  the  hallway  from  another  room?

the  champion  is  known  to  not  be  able  to  hear  herself  well,  so  she  often  is  loud  despite  thinking  she  is  speaking  at  a  normal  volume.  but  there  are  also  times  where  she  is  completely  silent,  with  no  desire  to  talk,  so  therefore  unable  to  be  heard.

THERE  ARE  MANY  SECRETS  THAT  SIX  HOLDS  CLOSE  TO  HER.       but  there  is  one  secret  above  all  that  she  has  never  revealed  to  anyone,  and  never  will,  is  the  truth  of  how  her  mother  died.  she's  lightly  alluded  to  what  has  happened,  but  never  shared  anything  concrete.  everything  was  swept  under  the  rug  way  back  when,  and  that  was  how  it  will  stay  for  the  rest  of  her  days  if  she  can  help  it.  no  one  will  know  why  the  shino  house  was  sealed  in  rudderpool.  why  the  garden  is  still  tended  by  the  professor  but  the  door  remains  closed,  curtains  drawn.  no  one  will  know  what  lies  within  the  dust  riddled  shelves,  or  on  the  floor  where  she  once  lay  dead.

GUILT  IS  NOT  AN  EMOTION  OFTEN  FELT  BY  SOMEONE  SO  COLD.      but  when  it  comes  around,  it  is  interesting.  like  something  clawing  at  the  very  reaches  of  her  mind,  giving  her  moments  of  clarity.  memories  of  her  past  where  she  was  carefree  sometime  surface,  and  the  look  on  the  face  of  a  once  bright  litwick  begin  to  dim  to  a  sad  chandelure  longing  for  the  return  of  love.  it  is  as  if  there  is  a  part  of  her  that  wishes  to  break  free  each  time.  that  shows  her  that  this  is  not  what  she  really  wanted.  but  she  pushes  it  away  forever  into  a  sea  of  blackness  deep  within  her  core.  the  guilt  that  she  feels  is  small,  compared  to  the  desire  and  ambition  for  her  climb  to  the  top.
