          SEEING him makes her sink so easily to her knees. A graceful drop; the dress she wore fanning around the ground. “Father.” Painted lips, drawing up in a soft smile. “I’ve missed you.” 

"Where is everyone? How long was I gone?!"

      “HELLO beautiful.” head ticking to the side, lips spreading in a smile. “Long time no see.” 

            “I THOUGHT he’d never leave. Not that I didn’t enjoy the show...but that sort of thing isn’t as fun when you can’t join in.” Arms crossing over her chest, she grins. “You certainly looked like you were enjoying yourself. Should I be worried?” 

           “OH HUN, I think someone’s in a little over their head.” 

                “YOU’RE starting to bore me. Do something fun.” 

             “I DIDN’T expect to get to see you. Is this a dream?” 

           LIGHT touch of fingertips against his face, palm pressing to cup his cheek. “Easy dear.” Her voice is soft, only the faintest of smiles turning the corners of her lips. “I’m safe, see? No worries.” 

                 HER legs cross as she settles on the bed, at ease as though she hadn’t just snuck in. “I don’t see why you two insist on staying in these hovels. There’s a perfectly good hotel down the street.” Gaze roaming the room for a moment, she finally focused on him with a brilliant smile. “Surprise.”
