joker!gojo whose been admitted to gotham city's arkham asylum for his chaotic, master manipulative, and charismatic personality traits after getting caught yet again and defeated by batman and gotham police department. they found his behavior to be too dangerous and mentally unstable to be in a normal prison like any other regular criminal.

joker!gojo in which he finally sees you for the first time, a psychiatrist that was specially assigned to treat him for his psychotic and maniacal tendencies. during the therapy sessions, he had a twisted way of manipulating you emotionally with his tragic past stories, charm, and essentially, his mind games. in the end, he drove you to become more obsessed with him in a way where you could slip up and free him from the asylum.

after weeks of his deceptive and psychological tactics, you end up falling in love with how unpredictable and fascinating he was. you began to become emotionally attached to him and even sympathize him instead of looking at him like some dangerous criminal. and before this, the faculty members specially warned you about his manipulation and advised you to not take anything of what he tells you to heart.

you end up using your position as a psychiatrist and gain access to restricted areas, stealing key cards, and security information which you finally free him from his cell.

joker!gojo uses his chaotic behavior to manipulate and distract the guards during the escape from out of the asylum. after fully breaking him out, you abandoned your old life and join him in crimes of gotham city.

joker!gojo has you right where he needs you, while your deeply devoted to him and wish for his love and approval—he tends to manipulate your emotions and your loyalty and use them for his own benefit.

the moments of affection and humor ends up turning to betrayal and cruelty. which leaves you stuck and confused on why he acts the way that he does, all you wish for was for him to be devoted to you. but deep down, joker!gojo does have a soft spot for you somewhere in his sadistic heart. and sometimes? he chooses not to show it.

joker!gojo who often treats relationships like games and doesn't really take them seriously. it wasn't your fault that he struggles to genuinely care for you in a healthy way. which is why he always wanted to be alone and do things by himself.

but aside from all that, you and joker!gojo did many heists together. from bank robberies and stealing the finest jewelry and expensive paintings from art museums that costed a fortune, to kidnappings of police officers and civilians just to use them for leverage or for silly stupid games that only made the two of you laugh.

joker!gojo often partakes in aggressive armed assaults, attacking law enforcement or batman's allies during schemes. and you occasionally used your charm to distract men while he did what he had to do.

you found yourself being intrigued with joker!gojo's messy warehouse filled with chaotic interiors and cluttered rooms with random but expensive objects, weapons, and stolen items that the gotham city police department have been looking for.

and of course, being you—you add your playful girly heart elements contrasting your boyfriends darker chaos to make it look more lively. but joker!gojo doesn't mind.

joker!gojo would always admit that he loved your confidence and how smart you were. he looked at it as a tool for only his for advantage, but told you that it was all admiration and something you should be proud of.

joker!gojo who often joked around with you whenever he was in a good mood. but of course it doesn't last. he shows you a hint of affection and has a small obsession with touching your face just to see clearly how perfect you looked just for him.

joker!gojo definetely loved wearing matching or themed crime costumes with you. for example, if the both of you went to go rob the bank like always—the two of you wore business attire to make it seem like you worked there. his stupid but funny pranks often got him to be more soft with you only for just a few before he went back to his normal self.

you also liked making the cutest nicknames for him such as, 'puddin,' and 'sweetheart.' and joker!gojo sometimes called you 'doll', 'dollface' or 'cupcake' because thats what you were to him.

joker!gojo knew how to deal with your whiny, bratty, and spoiled attitude like no one else could. and that was half of the reason why you didn't see yourself leaving him alone—and he used that against you to make you feel like no one would put up with you but him.

the morning sunlight had hit the sharp lines and wide glass windows of the modern mansion you and suguru shared in palm springs. the palm trees outside of the estate stood tall around the home casting shadows. the mornings were usually this calm, and you were pretty cordial with the neighbors across from the home while you were checking the mailbox outside.

you were a housewife.

while suguru paid all the bills, your job was to just sit, look pretty, be a trophy wife, clean, and cook.

and your husband? he was rich. filthy rich. 

his father passed down his business for him to take over and continue—instantly giving him the title as a multimillionaire. years of secured wealth and perfect status. 

the mailbox you were checking was a ornate vintage-style metal mailbox painted soft pastel pink, with decorative wrought-iron scrollwork curling around the sides and post. It has a whimsical, elegant look, almost like something from a fairytale garden, standing out against the bright green lawn.

you let out a soft sigh, closing the mailbox and looking through the mail.

“bills, and more bills.” even if you didn’t handle them, the prices were outrageous. if it wasn’t for your husband—

as you made your way back inside, closing the large tall doors you rested the mail gently on the counter were suguru drunk the warm tea you made. his eyes slightly glanced at the mail, then up to you.

“i’m guessing your bag didn’t come yet?”

you nodded your head, watching as he took one of the unopened mail off the counter and opened it.

it wasn’t like you didn’t have a whole closet of bags, shoes, and clothes. that itself totaled to $130,000.

but you were humble, and thar was chump change to suguru. 

to be honest, you didn’t mind this lifestyle you lived. i mean, you did get everything you ever wanted. materialistic or not.

but sometimes, you wanted to feel how it was to be independent for a change. to actually know what hard work is. for your whole life you’ve been pampered.

“do i need to make more tea for you? i seen you finished.”

suguru notices his tea finished while he was too busy going through the mail. he gave you a small nod and handed you the empty cup and gave you a half smile.

he absolutely adored you.

literally, he didn’t see anyone else but you. he appreciated your clean and soft aesthetic. how gentle and calm you were, instead of loud and obnoxious. he enjoyed things that brought him peace—and you were that.

honestly, about you? he’d flip the whole world upside down. he respected you, and you respected him.

and he always listened to you, cared for you, like you were something so precious and fragile that he couldn’t let go of.

“darling?” he calmly speaks, slightly turning his gaze onto you as you poured some tea into his cup.

“yes? something wrong?”

“nothing wrong, just thought i’d let you know that i snuck two extra handbags in that order.”

he knows how guilty you feel whenever he spends money on you.

“you—didn’t have to you.” your breath hitched as you place the cup of tea on a small platter in front of him.

“i know. but why not?”

a small giggle leaves your mouth, and your arms gently wrap around him as he was sitting. “i’m super grateful, y’know?”

he hums in response, rubbing your hand slowly. “i’m glad that you are, love.”

not to mention, you had a huge diamond rock on your middle finger. who knows how much that thing was. you’d never even have the guts to pawn that if you wanted to anyway. 

“and by the way. theres a dinner party later on this evening at an upscale restaurant. i scheduled us a venue—so wear something nice.”

you nod, already having an outfit in mind that you wanted to wear. suguru gave you short kiss on the cheek before exiting the table and heading upstairs—disappearing into one of the rooms.

and just like that, your back to cleaning up and making sure the estate is cleaned and tidy. 

as soon as your hands wrapped around the pole of the mop—a wave of nausea flooded through your body.

but its just a normal sickness, right?
