Three more months, Mila predicts before the babe arrives. If Mila had been three hundred years older, it's extremely unlikely she would be able to have children at all. Even this child is a light miracle.

Mila was unsure about the specifics of dragonkin-human children. She had heard that human-dragon hybrids did exist, but she had never seen any. Yet again, with herself and Naga's clan across the scene, there aren't any many other dragons to confirm the truth of it. But right now, at this moment, it is real.

Luthier was so understanding. He knew as king he had certain responsibilities to maintain. He performed it admirably, and in time, Mila came to appreciate and love her human husband. The fruit of their effort was manifested in the growing child in Mila's womb.

Luthier approached, still nervous to look Mila directly in the eye. "How do you feel, dear?"

"Dreadful. But nothing I can not handle, especially not with such a loving husband." She offered her hand, beckoning him.

Luthier slid underneath the sheets and carefully positioned himself to cuddle Mila's back. His left hand gently patting her tummy.
