so my theory is that Sam’s highly anticipated performance is going to be in next friday’s ep

here’s how i think it’s going to go:

shi de is going to get drunk... like SUPER drunk

he’s going to get to shu yi’s house, try to kiss him, shu yi’ll refuse

then this is going to happen, shi de is going to get a little pushy, I’m assuming, which will frighten shu yi

we know for a fact that shi de breaks down after this, according to the press conference.. like completely breaks down... I’m hoping he stops himself before shit gets rapey

his breakdown will unlock something in shu yi, and they’ll spend the night together

next morning, papa zhou will find them there

and probably kick shi de out

The "food" trope - you cook for your significant other and take care of their meals
