New album from Coletivo 91! Recorded at Tapari Beach in 2021 (if I’m not mistaken). Actually, the entire album is a single recording lasting nearly forty minutes, which I decided to edit into ten tracks so it wouldn't be too boring.

Reconstructed edge (2026) Santarém, Pará, Brazil. This part of the waterfront had collapsed last year, but it had been in bad shape for a long time, about ten or fifteen years or so. Finally, it was finished (close to the elections, as usual…)

If anyone has ever wondered how I make the episodes for Amazon Slowness, it's like this: a cell phone and a tripod. When I didn't have a tripod, I used whatever was nearby to hold my phone, like a branch or a rock.Photo taken in Ponta de Pedras beach recently.

Plant by the stream (2026). Santarém, Pará, Brazil. Where I live, this plant is called Juá, which is also the name of the stream; but it has nothing to do with the Juá (or Juazeiro) of the Caatinga, which is a much leafier tree.

Last episode from the last season of Amazonian Slowness

Unknown fruit (2026). Santarém, Pará, Brazil. It resembles a cupuaçu but is much smaller in size, so I suspect it is a cacauí, or a cupuí, or some other fruit of the Theobroma genus.
