This is Satoru Iwata. Now, most know him as the president of Nintendo, but guess what? He didn’t start out as a pencil-pusher, noooooo. This guy is a programming badass. Some of his feats include:

1. Programming Earthbound from scratch. This was a game where the original coding was a mess. But Iwata don’t care. Iwata don’t give a shit. He just completely did over the game and managed to make it work.

2. He ported the battle code of Pokemon Stadium to the Nintendo 64, WITHOUT ANY REFERENCE DOCUMENTS.

3. You know Gold and Silver? The most popular Pokemon games ever? Since Gamefreak was still kind of noobish, they managed to fill the cartridge with just Johto. What does Iwata do? He compressed it enough for them to fit Kanto in. That’s right - this mofo compressed an entire game down when the developers couldn’t figure out how to make it work. Iwata don’t care! Iwata doesn’t give a shit!

So, yeah. Between Sakurai, Miyamoto, Masuda, Tajiri, and Iwata, Nintendo is pretty much run by programming badasses.

Follow-up to 2: he did that over the course of a weekend. He did something similar with the original Japanese versions of Pokémon, to get them more stable and ready for localization. (Pocket Monsters Blue was released in Japan using this codebase!)

And Iwata is still not done with programming. He has a habit of sneaking into projects and doing various programming jobs, even after becoming CEO. He’s the president of Nintendo, he can do whatever the hell he wants.

I never condoned any of the actions of the hackers, merely pointed out the carelessness of users online and pointed out how a reaction can be seen to the public eye. If you don’t like what I have to say, fair enough but condemning me for observation is childish and futile.

When your “observations” are misogynistic and hurt other people and are just flat out childish and judgemental and disgusting, you should probably get called out on them. You get people saying they are fake though distinguishing clothing and marks can be matched, some are shielded behind PR and calling for justice and some have owned it and just called out iCloud for screwing up. I know who I consider to have integrity. Secondly, iTards aren't safe. I've known since I first got on the Internet that ANYTHING posted or hosted online is free game. If you have secrets worth keeping, don't "sync" them to any cloud. Anyone who copped the brunt of the leak, they deserve it for being stupid. The only thing they can do is wear it with dignity and move on.
