I remember you said your headcanon is that Bulma is usually the one who initiates sex. But when Vegeta gets in the mood, do you think he would straight-up ask her, or would he drop hints instead?

I think early in the relationship it was exclusively Bulma — Pre-Cell I hc Vegeta needed the plausible deniability of his need being non-existent and him just entertaining hers, and for a while Post-Cell I have an hc he was too fragile to handle rejection so he’d just expect nothing and accept what was offered to him, until someone (I haven’t decided who) put it into Bulma’s head that he might only be participating out of a sense of obligation and got worried he didn’t actually like it, and since they were bad at communicating she just stopped instigating instead of just asking him, which he took as her being upset with him, and eventually it got cleared up but I digress! •

I think once he regains more confidence in both himself and her interest in him he starts being more likely to drop hints, but he’s subtle with it at first. Eyebrow quirks, body language, things people might miss if they didn’t know him but that turn Bulma’s head.

Once they’re Officially together and exclusive and stable and he’s more comfortable having needs around her, I think if they’re already in the bedroom it’s a pretty even split.

If they’re anywhere else in the house when the urge hits, I think he instigates less than she does, but he’s still known to hit her with a good old-fashioned,
