does anybody remember free the nipple. i wish i wasnt a stupid ten year old when that was a thing because i didnt know how good that movement really was. can we bring that back? the idea that womens bodies arent inherently sexual? all womens bodies? can women be braless or topless without it being a big fucking deal? please?
edit: kind of ironic i didn't think about it considering i'm transmasc myself but free the nipple applies to nonwomen with boobs too
double edit: stop tagging this as "#free the nip nops". they're nipples. nipples on boobs. be mature about this
How it feels to genuinely enjoy the Pitt and not get caught up on every little bad thing a character has done because they’re all complex human beings and none of them are truly evil like everyone in this fandom seems to think

Sometimes I sit and think about the fact that we'll never get to know what Lando's season would've looked like if he had been comfortable in this car from day one.
For a guy who has been so uncomfortable in this car to the point where he once said he felt like he had never driven a Formula 1 car before he has done a brilliant job especially compared to his teammate who has been nothing but comfortable.
To have only one less race win, the same amount of poles and podiums and the race H2H being level at 7-7 and this is with the qualifying H2H being 8-6 in Piastri's favor and Piastri also having an extra race finish. Of the 13 races Lando has finished he's lost a position once and that was in Spa when he went from 1st to 2nd; so, for 12 races he either finished where he started or higher.
I fear this would've been a very different season if Lando were comfortable from the get go because to have been as uncomfortable as he is and only be a single digit number off the championship lead is truly amazing and any one who says otherwise is a liar.
Now I’m really curious about Gabi’s roots. When I think back to other Brazilian f1 drivers I think the only one I remember who wasn’t of European descent was Felipe Nasr (could be wrong though).
Hey! Here in Brazil talking about ethnicities and roots it's kinda hard.
Brazil was colonized by Portugal, but we also had tons of other nationalities come here, either 'cause of slavery or immigration.
Brazil has lots of Lebanese people, if im not wrong, we have more Lebanese nationals than Lebanon.
We also have the biggest Japanese community outside Japan.
Every single brazilian is mixed, there isn't a way to not be mixed, but our concept of race is very different of how race is perceived in places like the USA, for example.
Race here is perceived as phenotype, not as ethnic. Gabi is white, he has Italian and Portuguese roots ('cause of his surnames, but im also pretty sure he also is a portuguese citizen, so he has enough documentation on his own ancestry to get a Portugal Passport) but if you trace his ancestry, like every single brazilian, you'll find black people and indigenous people going back a few generations. It's the same thing for me, as an example, I'm white but my great-grandpa was indigenous, and in my dad's side of the family, my great-grandma was black. Still, I'm white.
So the post was just me venting on how people forget about drivers like Tony Kanaan and Felipe Nasr being POC, and for some reason call a white driver (who is my fave driver!!!! I love Gabi, he's my pookie) a person of color, when there are actual POC drivers on the grid who suffer actual racism...
If we wanna talk about something Gabi has faced? Xenophobia. Alonso talked about this a few times, but people tend to ignore him and focus on Kimi (whom I also love) even tho Gabi is being much more impressive, but Kimi being Italian makes him more palatable for the European media, even though he's being mid. So why would they focus on the Brazilian driving a sauber?
Again, I love Kimi, I really do (and I'm also really worried about his well-being, hope this break he can get some well deserved rest) but the media is really fucking up by ignoring Gabi and Isack and focusing too much on Ollie and Kimi, i believe it's taking a toll on their mental health.
"A conclusion of not guilty does not require or imply a factual conclusion of innocence but indicates, in law, that the Crown has failed to prove its case beyond a reasonable doubt"
R. v. Bouvette, 2025 SCC 18
This is what I have to say on the subject of today's verdict in the Hockey Canada Trial.
The testimony, the evidence, the videos, the text messages. All of that is readily available for all to peruse.
Even if the Crown did not meet the unreasonably high threshold needed to find guilt in this matter, it doesn't make any of the above untrue. The testimony, the evidence, the videos, the text messages all still exist.
Given that information, we are able to make our own conclusions as to the kind of people these men are.
Playing hockey is not a right. It is a privilege. These despicable men have lost that privilege and should never have had it in the first place.

My name is Abdelmajed. I never imagined I’d be sharing my story like this, but life in Gaza has become unbearable. I am a survivor of the war here, and in the blink of an eye, everything I once knew—my home, my safety, my community—was ripped away from me.
The war has transformed Gaza into a graveyard of broken dreams. The buildings that once stood as symbols of life and resilience are now piles of rubble. Every corner is filled with the echoes of explosions. Every moment is shrouded in uncertainty. There is no security. There is no stability. There is no light at the end of the tunnel.
Basic needs have become luxuries. Food is scarce. Clean water is even scarcer. Hospitals are overwhelmed and under-resourced, and there is almost no medical care to be found. Every night, families go to bed hungry, praying they’ll wake up to see another day. The cost of basic necessities has skyrocketed, and it’s become a daily battle just to survive.
I’ve seen things I never thought possible—standing in long lines for a piece of bread, rationing every drop of water, and watching my people suffer in silence. I have lost everything—my home, my safety, my dignity.
Escape from Gaza is my only hope, but it’s almost impossible without financial help. The cost of evacuation is far beyond my means, and without support, I’m trapped in a warzone with no way out.
I’m reaching out to you now, in the hopes that someone, anyone, can help. I am not asking for luxury. I am asking for a chance—just a chance—to live. A chance to escape this never-ending cycle of fear, destruction, and loss. A chance to rebuild my life somewhere safe, where I can begin again, where I can find hope once more.
My name is Abdelmajed, and I am a survivor of the war in Gaza. Everything I once knew has been taken away—my home, my safety, and the people
Any amount you can give will help me get closer to safety. Even the smallest donation will make a difference—it could be the lifeline I need to survive. If you are unable to donate, please share my story. The more people who hear it, the better the chance that I can find the support I desperately need.
Your kindness and support mean the world to me. You’re not just helping me escape a war; you’re giving me a chance to live, to rebuild, to breathe again.

I’m sorry if this message feels sudden—I truly don’t want to bother anyone. I’m Areej, a 27-year-old English teacher and writer from Gaza 🇵🇸, and I’m reaching out because my family is in desperate need of help.
The war has taken everything. We’ve lost our home 🏚, and we live each day under the constant threat of bombing and starvation 🥀. I’m trying to evacuate my family—my parents, siblings, two small children, a newborn , and my sister who is deaf —to Egypt, where we hope to find safety 🕊️.
If you’re able to donate 💌 or even just share our campaign 🔁, it could bring us one step closer to survival. Every act of kindness means the world right now 🌍🤍.
Thank you for taking a moment to read 🙏
And if you'd prefer not to receive messages like this, please just let me know—I won’t message again.
Hi, my name is Mosab , I’m from Gaza, and like many here, I’ve lost more than I ever thought I could bear — my family, my home, my sense of safety, and the simple moments that once gave life meaning. 💔
I’m not writing this to ask too much of anyone. I’m sharing a piece of my story — not because I want sympathy, but because I still believe someone, somewhere, might care enough to listen.
If this message finds you at the wrong time, I understand.
I’m truly sorry if it feels like an interruption.
➡️ Please feel free to DM me if you'd rather not receive asks from me — I'll make sure not to contact you again. 🤍
✨ If you do feel moved to help — even by sharing — it means more than words can say.
Every repost, every bit of care, helps keep hope alive in a place that has seen too much darkness.
🙏 Thank you for taking the time to read.
