mercury stations retrograde on june 29th at 26 degrees cancer and it stays there until july 22nd. and i want to be clear about something before we get into it. this one is not about your devices. it is not about contracts or miscommunications or your emails going to the wrong person. those things might happen. but that is not what this retrograde is about.

this one is emotional.

mercury retrograde happens when mercury retraces degrees it has already moved through. which means this retrograde is taking us back through the same degrees mercury traveled last june when jupiter had just entered cancer, and further back through march to july of 2020, with extra weight on june and july of that year. the same emotional territory. the same unfinished business. the same feelings that were alive in you then are about to resurface now.

so before anything else, ask yourself. what was happening for you in june and july of 2020. what were you surviving. what decisions were you making or avoiding. what did you leave unresolved. and then ask yourself what was opening up last june when jupiter entered cancer and made everything feel a little more possible. what were you hoping for. what did you start.

this retrograde is the progress report on all of it. are you living the life you were envisioning in 2020. have you done anything with what opened up last year. those are not gentle questions but they are the right ones.

now here is what you need to know about moving through it.

you are going to be easily triggered. your feelings are going to be all over the place. cancer energy is fickle and indecisive by nature and mercury moving backward through it is going to amplify that. your emotions, your motivation, your desires, they may all feel unreliable right now and that is because they are. this is not the time to let your feelings run the program.
