"Tutorial" on how to draw an OC with dwarfism (well, some of it).

Boring tired disclaimer: Keep in mind that this is an introductory "drawing" "tutorial" and has some generalizations in it, so not every “X is Z” statement will be true for Actual People. Which happens to be true for everything in general.

You are heavily encouraged to do your own research because this does not contain everything you should know before making a character with any type of dwarfism.

I did touch upon it a little bit beforehand but I’ll bite and say a bit more lol

My main GRIPE with clone theory is that it basically woobifies Tord, like this theory basically just pushes the idea of ‘oh he wouldn’t grow up to be a evil communist leader instead he uhhhhh is a victim of a evil clone superseding him yeah’ 🫩

Even early on in the series, Tord clearly believed in communist ideals AND he already had plans to take over the world, as shown in Zombeh Nation!

It’s basically doubled-down further upon in Christmas Special ‘05, as even in an alternate reality, Tord DID INDEED attempt to take over Norway as a communist leader before getting arrested for it. (Perhaps in the main reality where Edd exists, is the only time he’s FULLY successful in doing a takeover?…)

He’s shown repeatedly to be capable of handling himself in combat + showing signs of aggression towards his own friends, so it’s no real shock to think of how Tord can easily turn heel against them at any opportunity in which he can benefit from it 🤷‍♀️

The idea of a clone taking his place and creating the Red Army isn’t BAD per se, but it just makes Tord into a somewhat ‘tragic’ and ‘misunderstood’ victim of his own actions, even though he’s FULLY capable of harm against others/creating and running a army. Tord IS capable of being a cruel and harsh individual, as he does have illusions of grandeur in regards for communism to have a proper return, and just saying that the events of Fun Dead and The End were all via a ‘evil’ clone of himself just feels so….. lame.

Plus, if it really was a clone, then why did look back at Edd’s house with a sense of longing and regret, after being shot out of the sky? 🤔 If it was a clone, it wouldn’t care about his ‘friendships’ being obliterated! Hell, he’ll probably be more angry about losing the mech he tried to retrieve/getting severely injured in the process!

If it really was a clone, then the genuinely great hill scene, a scene in which you can FEEL Tord’s introspection (mainly his shame and regret) towards his actions and how he probably realized he’s in TOO DEEP, is just dashed away. Absolutely zero stakes in terms of permanent character development, since this is just a potentially disposable evil clone.

CONFESSION 12 :

" To me it feels like Darnell is under represented (?) and pretty underrated still, esp in comparison to Pico or Nene, now I'm not saying that Pico and Nene don't deserve any of the attention they get, they are both very interesting characters and I like them too

But it seems like people don't really notice Darnell beyond him liking fire alot, wich is fair because thats his whole thing, or him being the 'chudman' (-> this is not as prevalent as before but he still got reduced to this by some people all because of a sound, like thats silly)... Other than that he just kinda gets... Ignored?

I think because people don't know him that well he also kinda gets labeled as the more sane person in comparison to Pico and Nene but this guy is just as fucked up as them, trust 🙏🙏

But I do understand that it's a bit difficult to really know who the Pico's School characters are and what they were supposed to be considering that theres not a whole mountain of original source material (and Pico's School 2 got canceled), we're pretty much left with the crumbs from the original games/movies and headcannons people decided to make based off of that

Still, even if they are crumbs, u could do so much with them... Like Darnell absolutely loves music, he probably has to deal with chronic migraines, he tried becoming class president, hes very smart etc (-> this might also be a reason why people think hes mentally sound)... The list made of traits he has can make for an interesting character

I'm trying to say that theres more that meets the eye considering him and I want people to see that

It doesn't really help that he kinda gets shoved aside by the fnf devs, and yeah weekend 1 was just supposed to be a fun cameo, but bro istg look at how much content and characterization Pico and Nene have gotten outside of that and then look at Nell lmao
