Our entry for the Develop:Brighton game jam! I was the programmer on this one.
Introducing Tiny Train - a mobile train-em-up!
Right now I haven’t got a device to test it on, but development is going beautifully - stay tuned for more updates!
Can’t believe I haven’t uploaded this one yet - one of the best things I worked on last year. This PacMan attempts to learn how to avoid enemy ghosts and go for the pellets using Machine Learning. This was an absolutely gargantuan task and I learned that there are so so many things that can go wrong when trying to teach a computer how to learn.
I handled the actual gameplay and replication of the original game down to a T. You can see where the ghosts attempt to move to, and each one follows the same rules as their arcade counterpart. I fed all this data to my teammate who handled all the actual machine learning - clearly a smarter man than I’ll ever be.
Overall, this was a heap of fun. Visual debugging’s right up my street
Getting really close to finishing my first puzzle game. It’s called Klor for now, since I can’t think of anything better.
