Week 14 post
After watching implementation I understand that my client may face certain challenges after listening to my recommendations. While they have a strong local social media presence, they are still a very small brand. Learning that a big reason social organizations fail is because "not all challenges are well suited for mass collaboration" makes me realize being so small will prevent my clients from mass collaboration. Mt Pleasant is not a super large market for new clients and not very many large local brands to collaborate with.
Another challenge might be a lack of willingness to commit to change or addition of technology such as a CRM tool. For my client occasional posts updating customers of operational changes and new menu changes is the large majority of posts. Committing to a content calendar and a more active presence on social media may be difficult. Communication and understanding what works for their brand is the first step of implementing new ideas.
