ARCHITECTURE IN MOTION

A short music motion I designed and animated to Architecture in Helsinki’s Spring 2008.

FETCH Fetch is a mobile-friendly web app I made to find dog-friendly places near you. It uses a database of locations – bars, cafes, parks, etc – that allow your canine best friend, a database created through user input. People can upload new places they find with their dogs so others can enjoy even more canine companionship in their own lives.

Druidry

Druidry is a 3D experience based around tenents of Druidry itself, with meditation, care for the earth, and the creation of patterns as the basis for magic. On the forested Earth plane, the player can tend to a garden of herbs with water from the pond. When the player views the world in the magical spectrum, one can see the magical energy connecting all living things. Upon inspection of stone plinths, runes illuminate patterns to walk in order to take the player to other planes. The rune for Joy will take the player to Mag Mell, a pleasant plane of faeries that disappear when one attempts to look directly at them. The rune for Separation will take the player to the underworld, an eerie plane of spirits floating aimlessly.

The experience delved into the perspectives of our existence. By looking at the world in another, magical way, druids can see the connections and patterns between all life forms. Druids work to strengthen these bonds and cultivate the earth and the life of its environment. Druids can also weave patterns to travel to other planes – notably the Irish planes of Tir Na Nog (the land of the fae and the Tuatha De Danann) and Mag Mell. Druids’ altered perception of the world around us and the importance placed on the earth and its energy is a meditation for the player to ponder while wandering and exploring the space.

There is a playable web version here, but the standalone version is a better platform for experiencing Druidry.

Boku: Make Bo’s Haikus.

A small web-app I made for Bo’s poetic version of haikus.

A short web app in which you can create Bo's dog version of haikus.

He counts specific numbers of words for each line rather than syllables. The console also logs the number of each word written in the entire Boku, but as its not that interesting it doesn't display to the screen with the finished Boku.
