vampires are real. at least according to kelly
it was an interesting argument actually
i had ran into kelly in the woods, while on my way to a tomb, with aidenā one of the twins, following closely behind me.. for some odd reason
kelly asked to speak with me at the lake, that she had something important to tell me. something she entrusted me of knowing
the key factor of this entire interaction actually is the fact that kelly trusts me. out of everyone in town kelly trusting me is one of the biggest accomplishments i could have made. kellyās the one with the most intriguing story, and with her trust now in my hands itās only a matter of time before i get kellyās full story
furthermore, kelly began asking us whether or not weād āheard rumorsā about the undead. about vampires, to be more specific. i asked what exactly she meant by that, and kelly began speaking about vampires, and how they were real. she was very assertive about that fact too. āitās not a matter of believing, theyāre realā
honestly speaking, i thought kelly was joking at first. i mean, iāve heard hearsay about the logistics of vampires and their existence, but i had honestly chucked it up to mass hysteria. vampires just happened to be what the town clung onto
aiden was heavily against the idea. honestly i paint aiden as an average joe type of character. the type to not really engage in theories such as these. a boring character really, barely even a background character. basically forgettableĀ
i, however, pushed kelly to give more information. show any proof she may have gathered on the existence of vampires. honestly speaking i mostly asked just to see what would happen. would kelly stammer, struggle to give me anything? or would she actually provide some sort of physical proof
kelly, she.. gave me a bottle of blood. told me that was her evidence. holding a bottle of blood was something iād never experienced, nor did i ever expect to experience. it was.. odd. almost a bit uncomfortable
i believe kelly claimed to have some sort of machine in her home, god knows what type of machine. but whatever machine it was, it was able to test the purity of people. honestly that sounds a bit too sci-fi for me, but sure
i believe she had claimed to have tested it out on kei, and said kei came out as clean. pure. but when kelly had tested it out on kalina and lillian.. i guess something impure happened. whatever happened, i guess, somehow extracted blood from those two, or how kelly puts it, āpure vampiric essence.ā honestly.. i have no idea the logistics of that story. but kelly then claimed to hear both lillian and kalina admitting to ābeing vampiresā
i guess using the theory that those two are vampires would explain how exactly they were deconcentrating beacons, assuming the beacons run on the energy given from a humanās soul. though that too in theory would also prove the priestās claims on those two being inherently āunholyā
honestly iām not too sure what the truth could be. the past couple of days have been so odd with the sudden claims of vampires spreading around town, and kellyās weird sci-fi machine she claims to have. i donāt know. maybe kellyās telling the truth. maybe this is all just bullshit. i do not know
but quite honestly i do not care
i came here for a story. i came here to discover and unravel secrets to weave them together into something beautiful. beauty does not simply come from what is true or not. what is fact and what is fiction. beauty comes from a story. a damn good story that can shake the ideals and beliefs of a personās soul
i donāt honestly care if kelly just lied for half an hour to me, throwing around claims of vampires. all i care, is that kelly gave me something to work off of. a story to build off of
if kelly trust me, iām sure to be able to scrap off the walls to her secrets, discover every little thing to know about her, and to weave her into something beautiful
