I’ve been thinking about this for quite some time. I went back and forth for ages, because I’m so established here. I’ve had this blog for four and a half years almost—that’s a lot to set aside. But ultimately I decided it best to start over.

It’s that time again! I’ll be taking holiday commissions starting this Saturday, November 7th. This year, I have a special deal on portrait pieces like the two shown above. I’ll be offering 8x10″ silhouette OR surrealist portraits for only $25 USD! Subject can be you, a family member, a friend, a character, or any other figure of your choice!

Of course, I am still taking regular commissions as well. Tattoo illustration starts at $25 and digital portraiture starts at $50. Message me here, send fanmail, or email me at phosphorus.illustration @ gmail for a quote! 

Finished works can be delivered digitally via email, or prints can be mailed through several different avenues. Payments are done through Paypal.

Unlike my usual commission periods, there are no slots to be filled. Though the order in which I complete projects is first-come-first-served like always, I will be open for any and all commissions from this Saturday until Christmas!

I will be taking questions and quoting prices all this week. If you know for sure you want something, there’s no need to wait until Saturday to contact me! Just be aware that I won’t be starting work until next week.

A new one showed up recently and he is the cutest boy in the world. Big Tom cat head, medium length fur so he’s a bit puffy and with huge bold black stripes. He looks a little bit like a tiger, if tigers just so happened to come in grey.

I also quite like this method, but cutting through an insulated cooler like this will require power tools, and it’s obviously much more expensive unless you’re lucky enough to have or be donated the coolers to begin with. 

Depending on the size of the dog houses you’re planning to get, you probably won’t need to worry about this. But if you decide to go with the storage containers instead, you need to have at least one per cat. Though they’ll likely have no problem snuggling up for warmth, with ferals/strays it’s always possible that at least one or two will refuse to share space, leaving someone out in the cold. 

Feral cats are very smart, and should figure out that these are good, warm places to sleep quickly. If they seem hesitant or suspicious, however, you can entice them to go inside with treats. (We used sardines when we needed to trap someone, until one figured out if she went into the trap, someone would come let her out in a couple hours. She’d just take a nap in the meantime.)
