in canada, national indigenous history month is celebrated in june to recognize first nations, inuit, and mΓ©tis peoples! as tumultuous as this year has been for indigenous people, i want to celebrate our continual resistance through joy and presence!!

@ladyimaginarium a mixed miβkmaq, mΓ©tis, and more creator whoβs posted several coins such as miβkmaq / iβnuk intersex and two spirit
iβd also like to take the time to include some resources for both native and non native people interacting with this post! these resources are focused on canadian first nations, inuit, and mΓ©tis peoples, but can be used for a wider range of nations!
