The American justice system never ceases to amaze me. I don’t get how a person can claim to be “too rich to comprehend right from wrong” and gets sentenced 720 days in juvenile hall for killing four people in a drunk driving accident. I’m curious for all those simple cases that kids get arrested for for not knowing they did something wrong.

  My dad loves to stop at as many rest stops as we can. It gives us time to stretch our legs, spark a cigarette, and enjoy the road trip.

We had to make a stop to visit my grandfather’s memorial. I’ve always found myself at peace whenever I pray to him because I always feel him watch over me. 

It was so cold when I took this photo. You can tell my cheeks and lips are frozen. I believe it was 30º!  I’ve never been anywhere colder!

  I’m honestly so happy to be back home. Texas is much more different than California.  The streets in the countryside is long and lonely, and the weather makes you hibernate. Even the news in Texas is different! You can definitely tell how people’s minds are thinking based on what they watch on the news. Have you guys even noticed when you guys are travelling?
