I finally started my new webcomic project: She is Renée!
Renée is a young 15-year-old artist with big dreams. She wants to become an animator and study in Europe. She got an artistic grant to study at the prestigious Silver Antelope College, which will help her towards her goal. However, she has had a hard time making friends there. She recently made friends with Kara, who joined the school thanks to a sports grant.
This comic follows Renée's daily life, experiences, and dreams as she navigates her teenage years and learns more about herself.

Last Friday, the Ministry of Culture of Chile organized a Seminar on Copyright and AI. The main speaker was openly pro-AI, speaking next to nothing about copyright. She even used AI images during her presentation, using the poor excuse of "I can't draw, lol."
When a fellow artist pointed out the contradiction of using AI images in a PPT about copyright, she played the victim card, saying, "I'm just a poor teacher," and received thunderous applause in support. Mind you, she's an important academic, and she doesn't receive a regular teacher's salary.
Safe to say, every artist watching this talk was pissed, and to this moment they're still leaving comments in disgust on Instagram. It was quite a disappointing talk. Seems like they still don't take artists' rights seriously.

Quick context here: This is Clorofilo, a former mascot of TVN, Chile's public broadcaster, a mascot that time forgot. And a few weeks ago we had more proof of his existence directly from the source.

Soooooo... My Dendy art suddenly exploded! Hi everyone!
Last weekend I attended a con with our group Milcacómic and we had the pleasure to meet Sandro Larenas, the LatAm voice actor for Garfield, and signed us this original illustration I made… and he got a copy as a present. It was really nice!
For context: Sandro Larenas started voicing Garfield for the LatAm dubs of the specials and TV series (both dubbed in Chile), and he became THE voice for Garfield. While the CGI TV show was dubbed in Mexico, they actually asked Sandro to voice Garfield from Chile. In the latest film, while he no longer voices Garfield (the movie was dubbed again in Mexico), he got to voice Vic, Garfield's dad. Just so you know: he had become quite attached to the franchise... After all, he got the approval of Jim Davis himself for the original TV series.
