He nodded, "You and me both." he always liked it when someone came in and loved baseball like he did. He played pro ball many years ago, but he was still a fan and always would be. A lot had no idea he used to play since it was so long ago now. A few years ago, he gave his time at the town's little league, not as much as he got older, but he still came if he was asked. "Ah, that's not too bad." A loss was good, showing that you still could get better. "But we would love that." Houston was young, but he could enjoy the game till. @lucaswilder

"Great. I'll definitely set you up with a few tickets, then." He loved being able to give friends and family passes to go watch the high schoolers play baseball. He loved seeing anyone out there supporting the kids in town and he was happy that he was able to coach them as well. "Alright, anything I should get to first today?" He asked curiously, wanting to get right to work. @charliesxdavis

"We should do one together sometime. It's always nice when I go and I know someone." He smiled at her. "This summer I'm gonna be volunteering at Equestrian Estates for their horse camp." He was looking forward to it. Since baseball was going to be ending soon, he'd have the time. Laughing a little, Lucas shook his head. "You and me both, then. Though I'm good with boring on my end. I can give suggestions for you." @solanaxortiz

He nodded as he listened to her. "That's really great, Alli. I'm so happy for you." Part of him wondered if he would ever feel that way. If he would have a child or even find another love. For a long time, Sophie was it. Now, he couldn't imagine falling for someone else. Lucas waved her off and shook his head. "Please. You definitely are saying that because I'm right here." He didn't think anyone was lucky to have him. After being in prison, he truly felt like he was more of a burden than anything else. He smiled down at the little girl in his arms and then over at Alli. "Oh, you can definitely assume that. You and that boyfriend of yours are gonna get sick of me for being the coolest uncle." Lucas grinned, looking back at Jordan. "Well, believe it. She looks just like you." @alliannahvaughn

Coralie had some butterflies in her stomach as she went through the motions of this speed dating thing. It was nerve wracking, but she was excited to get to know new people and maybe even find something more serious. When the next person sat down in front of her, she smiled, leaning forward and resting her arms on the table. "Hello, Lucas. I'm Coralie. It's great to meet you too." Laughing nervously, she pursed her lips. "Are you just as nervous as I am, or am I like, totally making this seem scarier than it really is?"

He took a deep breath and shook his head. "You're definitely not making this scarier than it is. I'm definitely nervous." He said honestly. "I think these things come easy to some people, but I will admit that it's nice to hear that someone else is as nervous as I am." It certainly made him feel better, at least. Sitting up, he looked at her. "I'm not even sure if I'm doing any of this right. How are you supposed to get to know someone so fast?" @coralie--olsen

"Good luck with that." A softened laugh came from Corinne as she finished buckling in Rosie. Corinne climbed into the driver's seat, making sure the other two girls were also buckled in before pulling out of the driveway and making the short drive to the beach. "I mean, basketball is a lot of sprinting, and you know how much I hate running. I've always hated running." During school, Corinne had always dreaded having to run during gym. "I didn't say you couldn't have your coffee before." Corinne laughed a little. One reason she liked starting her morning at SoulCycle was that it was a great way to wake up her body. "Come on, one time. I bet you would like SoulCycle. It really does wake you up, right, Hall?" Corinne had asked her daughter to get into the backseat, and her daughter agreed. She had gone with Corinne a couple of times because she, like Corinne, was an early riser. "You don't want me to play basketball with you. Do you not remember the last time you did? I couldn't even get the ball close to the net. I would literally make it harder for you to win." @lucaswilder

He laughed softly and shook his head. "I didn't say basketball, dork. I said baseball. You know, the sport I'm coaching and the one where you it a ball with a bat?" He teased and looked out the window. "No thank you. You both aren't going to be convincing me to do anything towards cycling. Besides, I have work. I'm not waking up earlier than I already do just to get on a bike." He shook his head. "Where's this at anyways?" Lucas asked her. @corinnebeaumont

"Something real, huh?" Lucas asked, shifting in his seat a little. Part of him hated that he had been here, but he was trying and that's what mattered, right? This request, though, was hard. How real should he get? Did he mention anything about the accident? Or his time in prison? Was that really a speeding dating conversation? "How real do you want?" He asked her and reached out to take a drink of his beer. @lucaswilder

He nodded. "They do. And it breaks my heart, too. I know some have their reasons and I understand those, but there are definitely others that don't make sense." At the comment about his sister, Lucas nodded. "I do. Don't tell her I said that, though. She's definitely lucky to have me." He smirked teasingly. "We're happy to be stuck with you, that's for sure." He said and watched as Alliannah got her daughter out of the stroller. He took the baby carefully and looked down at her. "Look at you Jordan. You know, if my sister is your Auntie, I'm gonna insist on being Uncle Lucas, okay?" He smirked down at the baby and then back over at Alli. "She's beautiful, Alli. Expect her to be very spoiled from me." @alliannahvaughn

He nodded and laughed a little. "It is. I like doing it all. Then when I can, I volunteer around town." He'd do anything to make sure he wasn't just sitting around. He felt like he had to do a lot so he could keep his mind off things. "I'd love that. Kira's planning to come, but having you drag her along is a much better choice." He joked with her. "What have you been up to? Anything fun?" @solanaxortiz

He smiled, he did his best for his staff. If someone could only work a handful of hours, it was okay. "You know I love this time of year," from the years he played baseball, he loved the sport. "No," he shook his head, acting serious for a second before he laughed. "You are fine," he understood and didnt mind it. Lucas was a good kid, so he didnt mind helping the young man out with the work schedule. "How's the team going?" he asked as he loved to see how Lucas was doing with his coaching. He had done it a few times over the years when he was younger, but now only gave time when he asked if needed.

He nodded. "So do I. I love everything about spring." Outside of just baseball, he loved the crisp morning, the warm afternoons, the flowers blooming. Spring has always been his favorite season. "Thank you." Lucas told him. He was very thankful that Charlie let him do this and didn't care that he needed to head out for practice. "They're doing good. We've lost only one game so far. You should come out and watch a game. I can get you a ticket. You can bring your wife and son." @charliesxdavis

He took a deep breath and shrugged. "I guess we'll find out once we start playing games. I like to think they're doing good, and they are, but hopefully that means we win some games." He didn't want to fail at this. He really wanted to do right by these kids and give them a good season. "Yeah, but you know how people are. I mean, Kismet Harbor is great, but there's a few people that are close to Sophie's parents and are on their side." He shrugged. "I just never know when they'll come out of the woodworks." @kiraxwilder

He chuckled and nodded. "Yeah. That does help a bit." He told her. He wondered if this feeling would ever go away, that he'd feel caught up in what his friends and family were doing in their lives. Or even if he'd stop feeling the guilt and pain of missing so much. "That makes sense. I'd be worried otherwise since you're her mom." Lucas smiled at her. "Me too. I definitely wish for that." He took a breath, then focused on Alli and Jordan. "That's good. I'm glad you're happy. And I'm sure she does. She's always helping, that one." And he was very appreciative of his sister. "Alright, am I meeting this little girl properly or what?" @alliannahvaughn

Corinne couldn't help but laugh softly; she needed it. It had been hard for the last six months since her mom had passed away. Corinne had her siblings, but they also had their own lives. Then, with Clemetine leaving for work for months on end. She had been trying to balance everything and was just working on focusing on what her girls needed first. "Hopefully she won't, but if you're willing or lucky, you might get to go for a swim." Corinne grinned as she finally got everything into her SUV before closing the trunk, calling for the girls. "Of course I am. Well, I am definitely going to try. I think it just depends on what time they are too." Corinne would rearrange her schedule if she had to. "But, only if you start coming to spin class with me in the morning. It's really a great way to wake up and start your day, you know?" She laughed, knowing he didn't have to; she went early, early before the rush of school. Corinne climbed into the driver's side of the car after making sure the girls were all buckled. "I also do kickboxing four times a week, if you're too weak for spin class." She said, punching his arm softly. @lucaswilder

"I'll cross my fingers for not getting in, but I don't think I can say no." And really, Lucas didn't want to. Having fun and having a good time was something he needed more than he could tell Corinne so if Tilly went in the water and wanted him to, he'd be right in too. As his best friend mentioned spin class, he made a face. "Now you're trying to kill me. How is going to spin class a good equivalent to just sitting on the bleachers to watch a game?" He asked teasingly. "I like to start my morning with coffee. It's normal." He shook his head. "Kickboxing? You are crazy." He looked at the girls once he was in the passenger seat. "She's crazy." He laughed and then looked back at Corinne. "Why don't you play baseball with me, then? Or lift weights? Or go for a run?" @corinnebeaumont

He smiled "So far so good today," he was thankful for that, that there was not much going on yet since it was early. "Alright," he said, he always had coffee up and running for the staff and anyone who came into the shop, really. He paused at the question for a moment. "Mostly same old same old, but we should have an order coming in today," he smiled a moment, "some more baseball gear," since it was in season, it was busy. @lucaswilder

"Good." Lucas said with a nod before taking another sip of his coffee and looking over at Charlie. "You got it. And good to know in case my guys need anything for the season." He laughed a little. It was still crazy to him that baseball season was here and that he was a coach. He was excited, though, to get going. "Speaking of, we're still good with me leaving at three and stuff, right? I just want to make sure." The last thing he wanted to do was ruin his job here. He might not need three jobs, but he really did like working at the sport shop and wanted to stay there. @charliesxdavis
