God can wait, there's dick to get

its been a long time

this is dandy writing.  on a whim i decided to look and see if i still remembered the login info to this account.  turns out i did.  it feels weird to see it all again.  its like when you go back to one of your old schools, but the carpet and the paint and decorations on the walls are all different.  familiar yet very different. 

a lot has changed in the 2 years since this site fell apart.  not all of it has been good.  in fact a lot of it was bad.  i graduated college with my bachelors, the pandemic hit directly after, i spent months in a very unhealthy house with bad people, felt more depressed, isolated and paranoid than ever before, my boyfriend and i broke up, i got kicked out of that house and had to move in with someone else.  2020 was not a good year.  i dont need to tell anyone that.  ive made a few steps to make things better i guess.  i was able to find work back in september (the job isnt great but its what i could get,) i just got my drivers license, and finally have a car.  since the breakup i feel like ive deteriorated mentally pretty significantly.  i dont really have any way to completely address it, just taking it one day at a time better or worse.  i remembered this account and wanted to see if i could see what it used to be like.  its like a time capsule in a way.  all of our posts that we can still access, all of our likes, years worth of posts and memories we both made on here.  i think most of us who migrated over to sites like twitter miss this dogshit website more and more as the days go on.  for as many bad things as it had to offer, no other site operated quite like tumblr, and had as many features we took advantage of then and miss now.  i would glady take tumblr being restored to its former self than spend one more day spending all my time on fucking twitter.

i dont plan on using this site fully again, though.  theres no real point.  its not even my account anyway.  i just wanted to relive some memories.  i doubt anyone will even see this post, if anyone is left at all.  if they are, thanks for taking the time to read this.  to everyone who moved away fully that we used to know or talk to, i hope you are all doing well and staying safe, wherever you ended up.
