I’m not gonna be on tumblr anymore. The recent change has kinda just killed it for me and so I’ll be leaving the blogs I run.

Rise was out and about Iwatodai City. She had decided to return after the school trip, this time on her own, so she could experience the city without distraction. She was dressed rather plainly so no one noticed the pop idol.

Rise stopped as she caught a glimpse of someone who looked familiar. Long red coat, black beanie… She tried to think if she could of ever met him before but was coming up blank… And now it looked like she was staring.

The inexplicable sensation of another’s eyes watching him set the Hierophant on edge as he weaved in and out of the crowd.

“Tch…” 

He hated coming here during the day.  Too many people, though most got out of the way given his disposition. He still couldn’t shake the sensation of another’s gaze upon him.  Finally having enough, Shinji posted up with back to the wall to survey the crowd.   Narrowed gray eyes scan the area searching for the mystery person until his gaze found that of a girl.  Maybe from school?  He couldn’t place her, but he got the feeling he knew her.

As quickly as his eyes found her though, they drifted off, lingering no more on her than the next person before pushing off the wall, weaving his way through the crowd back towards her.  His feet came to a halt as he reached her, head notched barely in her direction before speaking.

Tokyo was a massive city! Rise loved going to it. The sounds, the lights, the smells. This was the place she missed in her heart (even if she said she didn’t.)

She was a bit more reconised here but people left her alone. She was still on a break after all.

‘Big Bang Burger’. She thought to herself as she looked at the sign. ‘Sounds good! Lets go and see what they do.’ She walked on in.

She stopped, unwittingly, next to Haru. She turned to her with that stunning idol smile.

“Hey there. I’ve never been to this place before. What is a good thing to start with?” She asked.

“Hmm? Well, I guess it depends on what you feel like. In addition to burgers, they also sell fries, baked potatoes, salads, drinks, and cold sweets. Oh! Also, the limited-edition Earth Burger is on sale right now. It’s basically a mushroom Swiss burger, so if you like that, you’ll like the Earth Burger.”

The copper-haired girl looked thoughtful for a moment.

“Sorry, I didn’t mean to sound like a commercial. I guess I’ve absorbed a little too much of our marketing materials…”

Rise listened and felt dizzy with choice. Oh no.

“Uh… You know a lot… Do you work here?” She asked, wondering what a swiss burger was. Was it like swiss cheese? With lots of holes in it?

“Not exactly? It’s more like… I… kind of own the company…”

Haru looks a little bashful as she says that, before throwing her hands behind her back.

The big city was… Well… Big. Rise was staying at a hotel as she had been in the city for a convention. No. It wasn’t an anime convention. It was a food convention. She had gone with her grandma to help run a tofu stand.

That was over now however and so Rise had gone to the mall for some fun. It felt nice, not being reconised by anyone. It helped that she had her hair down rather than in her signiture twin tails.

That was when she got a weird feeling. Maybe it was intuition? Maybe it was her navigator skills. Or it could of been all the food she ate. But when she saw that red haired girl… Something just felt, different about her. This needed investigation and Rise began to sneakily follow the red haired girl, trying to see if she did anything different!

“What brings you to Iwatodai anyway? I didn’t think there was a Risette concert and you would be swamped with fans.” Minako questioned as she looked at the female. “Oh wait, you might be thinking ‘gee who is this girl’, right? I’m Minako Arisato in Class 2-3.” She smiled before giving a small bow in greeting.

“I just wanted to visit this city. I’ve been twice but both times were... Not what was intended. So I came alone.”

She felt her heart stop as Minako made mention of a strange aura.
