A prayer to Set, Egyptian god of the desert, the Red Lands.
[To Set:
To Set of the shifting desert sands, I offer you my praise. Thundering son of the earth and the starry sky, beloved of Nephthys who soothes the sorrowing, defender of Ra on the bright sun-barque, you stand at the bow, ever ready, ever able, smiter of the serpent, battler of your brother, lord of the red lands and of the oasis, strong of arm and strong of resolve, I honor you. Great is your mettle, great is your might, O Set who sends the storm, whose power is of the will, whose being is of necessity: yours are the days of desperation, yours the times of transformation. Shaker of the skies, O Set of many guises, Set of many tales, to you do we turn for strength, in you do we seek our survival–hail to you, O god! Hearthstone, 2017]

Pyramid of Djoser
The Step Pyramid at Saqqara is one of the earliest Egyptian pyramids. It was built in the 27th century BC during the 3rd Dynasty for the burial of king Djoser. The 6-tier, 4-sided structure is the earliest colossal stone building in Egypt.
“Ancient Egyptian medicine employed advanced surgical practices, while the prevention and treatment of diseases relied mostly on natural remedies and magical incantations. Following the successful first volume of The Medicine of the Ancient Egyptians, which dealt with surgical practices and the treatment of women and children, this second volume explores a wide range of internal medical problems that the Egyptian population suffered in antiquity, and various methods of their treatment. These include ailments of the respiratory, digestive, and circulatory systems, chiefly heart diseases of various types, coughs, stomachaches, constipation, diarrhea, internal parasites, and many other medical conditions. Drawing on formulas and descriptions in the Ebers papyrus and other surviving ancient Egyptian medical papyri, as well as physical evidence and wall depictions, the authors present translations of the medical treatises together with commentaries and interpretations in the light of modern medical knowledge.”

Pyramids of Giza
I made this bracelet with Djehuty in mind. The blue beads are agate and I saved a few beads that were leftover just to look at because I think they’re so pretty💙

Prayer to Thoth for skill in writing
‘’Come to me, Thoth, O noble Ibis. O god who longs for Khmunu, O dispatch-writer of the Ennead, the great one of Unu. Come to me that you may give advice and make me skillful in your office.
Better is your profession than all professions. It makes men great. He who is skilled in it is found fit to exercise the office of magistrate. I have seen many for whom you have acted and they are in the council of the Thirty, they being strong and powerful through what you have done. You are the one who has given advice. You are the one who has given advice to the motherless man. Shay and Renenwetet are with you. Come to me that you may advise me.
I am the servant of your house. Let me relate your prowess in whatever land I am. Then the multitude of men shall say “How great are the things that Thoth has done.” Then they shall come with their children to brand them with your profession, a calling good to the Lord of Victory. Joyful is the one who has exercised it’’
Papyrus Anastasi 5 (ca. 1295 - 1186 BCE)
Thoth
Source: Pinterest/ Etsy
I am Thoth and I speak to you in the language of Rê anew, for it was spoken to you even before my words were heard.
I am Thoth, lord of divine speech, He who sets things in their proper place. I render divine offerings to the Gods, invocation offerings to the Akhu.
I am Thoth, He who grants Maat to the Ennead and all that comes from my mouth is made manifest, just as what issues from the mouth of Rê.
I am he whom none can expel from heaven or earth, for I know what is hidden in the heavens, what is inaccessible on earth, hidden in the Nun.
I am the creator of heaven, I am he who formed the mountains, I am he who creates the stream by means of thought, who creates the arms of the river, and when I bring forth the flood, I fertilize the fields, giving life unto Gods and men.
Hearken, O Gods. Hear my words which are the words of Rê himself.

Hymn to Thoth
To Thoth, keen-minded judge of Ma'at, I offer my praise. O wise one of Hermopolis where ruled the Ogdoad, stander at the scale, holder of the stylus, chronicler of deeds, good and ill, yours it is to watch and to record. O god of all language, friend of the scholar and the scribe, the writer and the reckoner, god of the word in all its might, master of mathematics, I pray to you for insight and for understanding, for learning and for reason, for the gathering of knowledge and the judgment to use it wisely and well. Best of arbiters, most skillful of questioners, conciliator of gods and examiner of the dead, all works of word and wisdom are yours to wield. Thoth, great of discourse, great of voice, may I speak and perceive with all clarity.
