Grimmjow narrowed his eyes at Matt, the way the other hybrid was speaking to him was very reminiscent of the humans. As one who didn't trust most, if not all humans, he was wary of anyone who presented themselves like humans did. "I do not speak to others often." In fact, he'd not spoken to any since the last time he and a female were locked up in a small sterile room together. Which led to nothing because they needed space if they were to do anything.
Not that they would have but still.
Luppi was one of the hybrids that was basically up the humans asses. The spider-like hybrid loved humans and everything about them. Wanted to be one, apparently. Which was stupid in the jaguar's opinion but he also didn't like the little freak. Not because he was a spider but just in general. Luppi wasn't someone he wanted to become allies with. Not that they could sway him anyway. He was too busy being the perfect little hybrid bitch for the humans he worked closely with.
"It is a secret place. Easy to access for us." It also had a blueprint of the building upon the wall, it was an old cage that the jaguar had repurposed. He'd shredded everything aside from that blueprint. The humans were finishing their rounds, an older man came toward the tree where the two were, he was no threat. One of the very rare good humans. He would place down fresh meat that was untainted, nod at the two of them and go on his way after the others all left the area.
Once the humans were all out of the 'wild area' as it was dubbed, he would pick up the plate of meat and look toward Matt. "Come." Leading the other hybrid to his special hiding place wasn't difficult. Nobody else knew of this area. He would push some of the long leaves of a medium sized plant out of the way. "In here." He pushed the meat in before slipping inside. The hole wasn't large but he was a feline and as such, very flexible.
"The meat is good. Not tainted. Old man is good one." He and the young woman were the only two who weren't evil, they wanted to help the hybrids. The hiding place wasn't small like the opening to it was. It was one of the older holding cells, before the humans started to shove the hybrids into such small spaces that the larger ones were unable to get comfortable. "Look, here... this was given to me." He pulled a sheet off the blueprint. It was the layout of the entire facility. From the old holding cells to the new area including the arena. He shoved a piece of meat into his mouth and chewed it before swallowing.
Matt looked over to Grimmjow. "I couldn't blame you given the state of this place." He replied. Matt had to adapt to the whims of humans, but he didn't do it just for his own preservation. No, it's just how to overcome them, just to maintain his freedom.
Now he understood that there are some hybrids that can't be swayed no matter what. That's fine. He can find something useful for them or just kill them if they're becoming a problem or worthy to be defeated.
Then Matt is told that the place they're going to is a secret place. A secret place. It sounds to Matt like Grimmjow has a place that he needs to escape from all this. Matt nods his head and answers, "Alright..." He sees the blueprint and follows. He sees an old man, but for some reason, he is no threat when he comes near the tree. He just left there.
He sees meat, fresh and red, that is placed by the human. Who is he? Some kind of caretaker to look after the hybrids? He goes over to Grimmjow, telling him to come to his hiding place. The wild area is like a jungle to him. Full of green. It's almost like an enclosure. These humans must of spend lot of money on this. Then again, those scientists back in the hallway aren't cheap either.
He follows closely behind Grimmjow and enters the hiding place before being offered the meat. The hole isn't large, but it is fitting for Grimmjow to get inside since he's a feline. As for Matt being a goat hybrid, he can get inside as well. He just needs to tilt his head a few times so his horns won't get stuck.
"The old man is good?" He asked as he went to tear apart the meat with his hand. He went to eat a tiny piece of it and chewed on it. He wondered if this pairs well with the berries or cabbage.
He looks over the blueprint that had the entire layout of the area that Grimmjow showed him. Wow. Matt's eyes widened slightly, looking over everything. It had the arena, the entrances, the holding cells, and shit...everything. This is a great find indeed.
He thought the old man was weak and pitying the hybrids if he is considered a good human to the hybrids, but this is something. Matt will spare him from the upcoming event. "This is something I need, thanks," He asked. "Also, I gotta ask...the old man...he is the only good human here? Nobody else?" Guess he can tell him since this is a secret spot. "Because...I have friends outside that can help us, and once we get out...we are going to do something about these humans who keep us and their...customers.."
