well… mental problems are always a brain problem, any stress affects the brain. you're not the first person to ask whether it's possible to cure the brain of mental problems. women suffering from both depression and anorexia have asked this question. one woman in remission said that your job and the job of your therapist, is to teach you to live with it, so to make your life as comfortable as possible

It really annoys me when people say that trans men have privilege over trans women because “men of minority groups always have privilege over women of the same minority group”. Like okay but that’s cis people. That’s cis men. It’s entirely different for trans people??? Name me one privilege or benefit that trans men get over trans women that doesn’t require the trans man to be stealth.

Also, this is the ONLY instance in which "progressives" accept that men of minority groups always have privilege over women of the same minority group. They always, always conveniently forget that when they discuss their beloved intersectionality. Literally the only time they don't ignore sexism as an axis of oppression is when they pretend biological males are the victims somehow 🥴🤨🫢

a good question, by the way, about what specific privileges trans men receive. because medical ones are definitely out of reach. trans men can still get pregnant (which I wouldn't call a privilege). consider that along with testosterone they experience side effects that ultimately worsen their quality of life, which can make it completely impossible to lead a normal life. They might receive some privileges if they pass, but that's only as long as they're not known as a trans man… and not all trans men are pass so who knows
