I started off the year being in NYC for the first time with Shawn. I had the best birthday to date and though Shawn and I didn’t do anything extravagant for Valentine’s Day and our 2 year anniversary, the time we spent together was the best, he’s even starting to watch some movies and tv shows with me now! Slowly but surely 😂

With it only being into the beginning of month 3 of this new year, I feel like so much has happened already and there are only more great things to look forward to!

Moving into my old house with Shawn, Jarson and now Gio is looking more and more real every day! July is not too far away and I am beyond excited to start this next chapter in my life. Looks like it’s gonna be #AllisaAndTheBoys. They better not forget to put the toilet seat back down 🙄

After my 1-year review with my CA, I’m feeling a lot better with my decision to stay with Swedish instead of looking for some place else a long time ago. She said she’ll help me herself to find something that will utilize my degree within SMG! Hopefully I can finally put that paper to use sometime soon! Haha

My parents pretty much gave me their blessing to go to Vietnam with Shawn and his family this summer. This is a huge step in our relationship and I was so happy to find out it was his parents who wanted me to tag along with them. Tbh in the back of my mind I always thought his parents wanted him to be with a Vietnamese girl just because that’s how most traditional parents are..but they like me! They really really like me! :,) so I think I’ve finally decided that I am going to go and experience what it’s like to go to a different country with someone else’s family!
