Part of the problem is that people's anger that is actually towards the patriarchy is misdirected onto inanimate objects or non-actors like high heels or corsets and makeup. People think about and talk about misogyny in a very vapid and indirect way, through passive language, so they completely disregard that men intentionally cause all systematic oppression of women. The passive form is technically grammatically correct, but completely nonsensical. "The woman died of asphyxiation." No, she died because a man enacted misogynist violent strangulation against her. "The woman chose abuse" No, the husband chose to abuse her. "The law restricts female and trans autonomy" No, male politicians are punishing abortions and adult trans surgery with criminalization. A person needs to do an action, a concept doesn't do a verb. Its very lazy, very common on the internet, and makes the speaker seem very unintelligent and unsure what they mean, regardless of whether they are or aren't.
"Is long hair feminist? Are certain hair styles and makeup misogyny? Is shaving, the patriarchy? Is it feminism to cook and clean? Is barbie feminism? Is porn feminist? Is this a feminist way to have sex? Are high heels the patriarchy? Is marriage misogynist? Is it misogyny to wear a mini skirt? Is it the patriarchy to give birth to my children? Is cooking and cleaning feminism? Is surrogacy misogyny? Is it the patriarchy to get my nails done?"
None of these are the right questions! Intellectually lazy and very uncurious women tend to engage in hypervigilance and compulsive surveillance of themselves and over other women, because it gives full agency and the active voice to objects instead of to people. Women believe that feeling suspicion towards any given ritual object magically imbues it the power of authority. If it holds oppression inside it, she can choose to sacrifice it and the object's oppression power is vanquished without a vessel, like horcruxes. e.g. throwing a miniskirt away. And if it holds feminism power, then it decreases her "oppression" (which can be guilt, or vaguely bad emotions) like crystals do. e.g. buying a boob mug from etsy. Passive feminism is a choice feminism which is all a very silly fantasy. It is entirely faith-based. "If I choose this option and play feminism like a videogame, the patriarchy loses!" No, they do not.
Faith means that they don't have to actually DO the task of considering the real historical and present sociological connections of these objects or depersonalized actions to the actual active oppressor; men. Whether or not males factor directly into the action, the choice, or the passive, may completely alter the significance of these objects. If you truly believe feminism isn't a part of society but something one woman can achieve alone in private with inert things in the absence of other women, with no male oppressor present to act against, you are completely lost and confused about the intentional purpose of sociological movements.
You need to Name the Oppressor and confront him in your questions and observations, not, your self (and definitely not other women).
The object and individual doesn't hold the power! Society does.

A fresh snowfall and recent meal means the geese are ready to bath and they head off into the deep snow to play.
little yellow goldfinch doesn't even know he's just like flowers
you're laughing. emerald fennell, a rich white woman, is adapting wuthering heights into a solely-for-shock-value film and ignoring all of the books themes on racism, cycles of abuse, and class. and casting heathcliff as a white man when he should be dark skinned. and casting edgar linton, the rich white man who holds immense privilege over heathcliff, as a man of color. this woman is racist and can't tackle class dynamics for shit but you're laughing
Something about the new "Wuthering heights" movie bothers me 🤔
