One of the main reasons I started to make clothes is because I was tired of cheap crap that fell apart. When shopping for parties and Halloween it was impossible to find any fun pieces that would last more than 2 wears. My Oma (grandmother) always told me it was far better to have a couple really nice pieces than a whole closet full of shitty ones. So, In the interest of trying to put less in a landfill (& stop supporting sweat shop slave labor) I decided to make my own. 🖤 Maybe you can empathize with me: I want to have signature pieces that I wear for decades not for a weekend or even a season if I’m lucky. Timeless pieces that look good in July and in December. So I’ve created just that & in the process I’ve been able to have a say in how it happens. By that i mean: Pay fair wages, use the best textiles and make sure quality is the top priority.
