amazing question. how about 11 songs. this came together so quickly.

1. Me and Magdalena (Version 2) by the Monkees: Imagine the ray and gerard harmonies on it.

2. Forget Her by Jeff Buckley: The guitars are so beautiful on that track ray would know exactly what to do with it. and i can see gerard singing the vocals so well

3. Ticket to Ride by the Beatles: just imagine gerard singing “i think i’m gonna be sad. i think it’s today” it would WORK

4. 3 by Britney Spears: come on. PICTURE IT. picture what it would do to us

5. Complete Control by the Clash: it’s so angry but not too angry and mcr do something so interesting in their covers that i feel like this one would get a revamp that would make me like the song more than the original!! Also the “i hate my label” anthem for them…

6. Atomic by Blondie: another instrumental i love and yet another case of “gerard would devour these vocals”

7. The Door into Summer by the Monkees: for some reason i really associate the monkees with mcr (outside of gerard’s daydream believer obsession). again. imagine the rayrard harmonies

8. reject all american by bikini kill: riot grrl. punky. upbeat. its a shoe-in for an mcr cover!

9. rain by the cult: another great band piece that i think they’d give a really good spin on.

10. Modern Girl by Sleater Kinney: has that fuzz that builds up that i think gerard would LOVE to recreate or put their own spin on. also. the sleater kinney of it all
