HANNAH WELLS + GARRETT GRAHAM | Off Campus: Season 1
Garrett hates my singing but it's okay because he loves me. Yeah, I do. I love you, Wellsy.
GARRETT GRAHAM and HANNAH WELLS in OFF CAMPUS (SEASON ONE)
Ilya telling Shane that his mother was funny and beautiful and so sad. That his father was so hard on her. He makes a point to say he doesn’t want Shane to think his mother was weak. She wasn’t.
Because Ilya is his mother’s son.
Opening up about Irina is like peeling back flesh to expose bone. It’s admitting his own fears. He sees so much of his mother in himself, and it terrifies him.
And this moment is Ilya finally giving Shane that honesty he asked for — to tell him about the one person in his family who he loved and loved him back — but it’s also a warning with a hidden plea.
Ilya is funny and beautiful and so sad. His father was so hard on him. But please don’t think he’s weak. He’s not.

the thing about heated rivalry is that u start it because you want to watch hot guys be gay. like it could be good it could be bad but who cares, it will still have hot guys being gay. and then u watch it and realize every episode is like getting shot in the chest five times while experiencing every emotion imaginable bc you’re actually just witnessing a work of art unfold week by week. and you STILL get to watch hot guys be gay. absolutely top tier viewing experience
"As it turns out, witnessing two young, exceedingly green actors be so free in and genuinely enthusiastic about the moment that they’re experiencing is as refreshing as it is endearing. Neither one of them is above it or blasé about what is happening, as you so often see once fame hits — nor are they dismissive of or embarrassed by the premium smut that they’re promoting. [...] Toggling between the show and the press tour has been a joyful respite from so much ugliness in the world — one can only hope the next nine days, and well beyond, will remain so. We need it. Maybe we even deserve it." — The Hollywood Reporter, ‘Heated Rivalry’ and the Art of a Truly Joyful Press Tour
"I have one of my best friends for life right beside me through it all, which is already a luxury that a lot of actors don't get. I'm sure I would've probably had a smaller appetite for the amount of stuff we're doing if I didn't have him through this." - Hudson Williams on Connor Storrie
"Me and Hudson are best friends, and I think it's one of those connections where the moment you talk, you just kind of click." - Connor Storrie on Hudson Williams
"They legitimately are nuts about each other, they're best friends." - Rachel Reid on Connor and Hudson

HEATED RIVALRY | 1.02 -> 1.04
GLASSES BACK ON.
I'm sorry but this is not the same person. It's almost uncanny how much Connor Storrie disappears into Ilya Rozanov. I know much has been said about the accent, the quick language acquisition. But to me what's even more fascinating is the way everything about the way he looks changes for the role - his facial expressions, the way he hold himself, all of those little micro expressions. Because cultural differences are not just in the language. A masterclass really, that whole performance. Looking forward to following his long and successful acting career.
And the same goes for this mf who apparently exorcised his true glorious freaky self every morning and slipped into the skin of anxious, repressed good boy Shane. The range. The way everyone was sooo sure nobody would be able to really follow the story of the show because we were sure without Shanes thoughts viewers would be lost? Needn't have worried, Hudson Williams will just show you 5 pages of internal complexity in a 5 second close-up shot.
Hey so do you mind if I nervously self-soothe by sticking my fingers in your sleeve while we talk to this room full of people?
We knocked over a table. It was pretty expensive. We knocked a chandelier. Not really a joke. We broke a vase. It was expensive.

obsessed with hudson and connor knowing since the first time they read together that the other was The correct person. hudson was connor's shane and connor was hudson's ilya
"Variety: You guys have really become best friends."
Connor: "He was just here for a week and stayed at my place. It’s really enlightening about the culture of how men and man-on-man affection is received because you don’t see that a lot. It’s taboo for men to be friends and grab each other a certain way or hold hands. And me and Hudson being in such a sexual circumstance with one another, it’s really interesting to watch people sexualize our very amicable signs of affection. That just shows where the culture is still at in a way like, “Oh, these two men…” Just because we’re really comfortable with each other and we love each other, we’ve been through the craziest experience together, we’re on this crazy rollercoaster together, if I have my hand on his leg as we’re sitting down doing a press thing because he’s my best buddy and I love him, and we have that level of comfort. It’s just interesting that that instantly gets turned into, “They’re more than friends.”"
