I love skirts and dresses, but I’ll always be a jeans and t-shirt girl 😉

I’ve always been a traveler, always restless, always looking for something. I’ve discovered and enjoyed many things, but the most exciting discovery of all is finally finding the courage to set her free. Perhaps even that isn’t perfectly stated, it was more a matter of her insisting that it was time, that she could not be denied any longer. And thank god for that.

OMG, I can’t wait for Halloween! My SO is gonna be Fred and I get to be Wilma!!!!! She’s 5′6, I’m 6′5″ ;-)

Got some new stuff from TomboyX and I really love them!

Anyone one who knows me will definitely tell you, I have wanderlust. I’m a travel junkie, always have been. So it’s not too surprising that this book by Elisabeth Eaves really resonated with me. I loved her journey of self-exploration, and I also very much appreciated traveling through the eyes of a woman. I found it to be a very powerful story, though at least one reviewer thought that she defined her “self worth and experiences” based on the men in her life. But the feelings that come with spending months or years of ones life on the road, the loneliness, the joys, the attachments that one gains and loses, seemed very familiar to me. I appreciated the perspective of a fellow traveler. You might also be interested in her account of immersing herself as a stripper in New York: “Bare: On Women, Dancing, Sex, and Power.”

Earth, Wind, and Fire today, and martinis help, too. Thankfully, neither me nor my partner give a shit about housework. :D
