I’m honored to have gotten so many in such a short amount of time. I’ve been a part of this community less than a month (part of the fandom just a little longer), and while there’s been some exceptions, I was welcomed with open arms.

Here is a list of some of my favourite blogs. "Thanks for the meal!" Mako shouted before digging into the steamy food. Her hands were moving at a fast pace just as her mom’s did when she was cooking and her mouth chewed with the same speed. A Mankanshoku-made dinner had to be eaten in Mankanshoku style! With her mother’s hard work put in to the food, Mako would respond in kind by eating with the same drive! "Mmm! So good!!"

Mako chewed as she replied to her mother’s previous declaration with her voice slightly muffled, “Oh Mom! I can’t be a part of the nudist army. I don’t have the resolve to go full out naked yet!” It was true. As much as Mako liked the uniform (it resembled Ryuko’s Senketsu when she transformed!), it didn’t feel right when she wore it. She just wasn’t used to it!

 "Ah, now that's my girl!" A hand rested upon her cheek out of sheer admiration. Knowing that her daughter had a good head on her shoulders, despite her absent-minded nature. A small laugh drifted from her lips as she remembered just how alike she and Mako were.

Sukuyo fell into silence afterwards, leaving the sound of their clicking dishes and crunching to fill the air. The woman wasn't eating with the usual speed and eagerness that served as one of the many common qualities of a Mankanshoku. She frequently glanced up from her dishes to lay eyes on Mako, simply adoring her as she indulged in her own meal. Suddenly there was a stringing sensation dancing across her eyelids. Oh, when the moods swings hit, they hit hard.

Just the two of them. Yes. Ryuko moved, only half-aware of where she was going. All the others melted away, and she focused only on the faint warm of skin against her inhuman hand. She had woken up to meet her birth mother’s reckoning, but she’d found her surrogate mother’s affection. 

        "Ryuko, please...hear me out, okay?" All of the parenting in the world couldn't have prepared her for this predicament. Her previous issues in life seemed as simple as spilled milk by comparison. How does one mend a soul so broken? Lengthy pause followed her statement as she gathered her thoughts.

       "I know I could never truly understand something like this...but I do know this. The girl I took into my home is not a monster. She never was." The Mankanshoku family had been beguiled by Ryuko from the beginning. She was gracious, odd and protective--all qualities that allowed her to mesh with her odd family as if she'd been there from the start.

Hey there peeps ! i hit the 168 followers number and i am so very happy ! i’ve recently made this blog and i already have many friends here and i’ve met such wonderful people that will always have a place in my heart.

I love you all and i want to thank you because thanks to you i’m happier now, i’m so very amazed by how nice the Kill la Kill fandom is.

The blade ceased her munching on the croquettes when the mother of Ryuko mentioned her being part of the family. A family for her ? Was this a dream ?

"O-oh…Thank you very much Miss. Mankanshoku ! I…i can’t believe i have a family now."

So what happened was… I hit 200 followers! What what! Mako and I have been on here for like a month and I already hit my mark! Thanks much for the love you give me and this blog! The Kill la Kill fandom has been really sweet to lil ol’ baby me. Everyone here is so experienced! Not just in the klk fandom either but other fandoms too. So without further ado, here’s a list of a few people that I really enjoy seeing on my dash and love spending time since I started here! (Not everyone but I tried!)

So I hit 150 last night, which is a big deal, I think. I don’t actually know. Sadly, I am only a disco ball, and I know surprisingly little. But anyway. 

This has been one of the most crazy fun RP communities I’ve ever been in. And I’ve been in a lot of them, let me tell you. In fact, up until now I’m not sure I’ve ever actually stayed in one community this long? It’s really an achievement for me. But there’s just so many really wonderful people here, and really good writers, too - I honestly enjoy watching a lot of you, even if we’ve never interacted.

Alas, I have the relative memory of a dead cat. So, if you don’t see yourself on here, I don’t dislike you or anything, I just forgot to add you because I’m an actual irl dingus. But here’s a few people I have honestly enjoyed RPing with, or just straight up enjoyed reading.

"C-can i really have more croquettes, ma’am ?" The blade gasps in suprise and in less than a blink she was already taking two more croquettes to her mouth, munching them happily.

He closed his eyes tight when she reached him and rolled him onto his back, the open back of his hospital gown leaving no buffer between his backside and the cold steel flooring. His attempt at playing opossum was short lived, eyes shooting open as he wiggled against the floor. "A-ah!" However, seeing Sukuyo now with his human eyes, he suddenly felt his own vision getting blurry, tears welling in the corner of his eyes. As if it were an inherent reflex, he sat up so that he could wrap his arms around her neck and hug her tight.

"Mrs. Mankanshoku!"

He buried his face in her shoulder, clinging to her as if his life depended on it. "I had the worst dream! I thought that I had failed everyone, and all of my friends would be disappointed in me. It’s not true, is it?" There was a comfort that Sukuyo was capable of delivering that Senketsu would liken unto being washed and ironed with tender love and care. With his outburst subsiding, he slowly eased his grasp on her and pulled back so that he could look at her.

"Of course it's not true!" She assured him as drew back, her smile soft with sympathy and the desire to comfort.  Sukuyo's dainty hands cupped the Senketsu's face,her thumbs gently brushing the corners of his eyelids in attempt to shoo away the tears that threatened to fall.  "We would never be disappointed in you, Senketsu. Not with you always putting your best foot forward for us!"

A generous paused filled the gap between that statement and the next. How could she bare to explain it to him...something she could even begin to fathom herself? "You are the one who saved Ryuko from Junketsu and Ragyo Kiryuin. If it wasn't for you, I'm not sure what would have happened to her and Satsuki." Sukuyo always hated remembrances from that day. The images were too sharp and vivid, making it seem as though the tragedy had only occurred the day before. The woman's brows furrowed slightly as she tried to suppress the more disturbing memories from that event.

"Satsuki wasn't doing well, and Ryuko wasn't in her right mind...and then you...somehow you saved them both. But you..." Her voice wavered into silence for a moment, prompting her to clear her throat in order to steer herself back on a steady track. "When we recovered you, there was nothing but Life Fibers. Everyone thought you were gone, but then Aikuro got this crazy idea--well, I guess it wasn't so crazy, because it worked."

Sukuyo was only a nurse, a back-alley one at that, but the intricacy of Senketsu's surgery required an immense amount of helping hands. Her memory of the intensive medical procedure wasn't as clear as the original disaster. Attempts to recall it primarily evoked hazy images of white coats and crimson thread. Voices were hushed and urgent, and the air was thick to the point of being suffocating. "It took such a long time...hours and hours on end. And everything was so complicated. We were all so frightened the entire time, but you did it Senketsu...You made it. I should have known right from the start that you'd pull through."

"Thank you. Thank you, Sukuyo."

The friendship that she had with Sukuyo was something that she completely treasured and valued. No one really wanted to be the friend of the CEO of REVOCS, especially since she was cooped up with work, her girls and employees who feared her. In many ways, Sukuyo Mankanshoku was a valuable friend to her, and she wasn’t going to let go of that friendship at all.
