You know, it is incredibly inspiring to see Belinda Bencic, Elina Svitolina, Naomi Osaka play into a second week of slam while being mothers on tour and players like Sorana Cîrstea and Madison Keys reach highest wins of their careers after they turn 30. WTA can and should be represented by players with career longevity and a possibility to have a career after pregnancy. And all of those women play tennis of their lives an prove that it is absolutely possible to have longevity in a career that so often starts when women are literal teenagers, burn bright but quick and retire by the time they're 27. It is a privilege to be able to watch a career of any given players go on for decades, and we should appreciate that more.
